Lets show up next week in Vermillion and give these guys one hell of a home coming. First home game and could the season have started any better. I absolutely cannot wait for UND next week. We have a little bit of a score to settle with them but they shutout an improving Missouri State team today so they will be a big challenge.

The last TD drive for the yotes was beautiful. Great 3rd down conversions and great run by Frederick.

What a game! Wow. Although considered an upset, USD was by and large the much better team tonight. USD has arrived; so much so that they might make the Argus tomorrow.

ESPN must of put the JV squad on this game Announcers were terrible. I understand they are probably local guys who are busy covering their area, but man, at least take some time to learn more about the opponent. They even said USD starts conference play against UND next week...ugh.

Pack the Dome on Saturday! Casual fans have no reason to stay away now. Tell your friends. We have a playoff team with an up tempo offense that is a blast to watch.

What I find interesting is that the Coyotes won this game without playing their best. They have some room for improvement on offense and being more consistent but this passing game is something else. The Coyotes need to work on their route running and they need more go to plays to convert on those 3rd and 5's or 10's. It's nice that when things started going Bowling Green's way the Coyotes were able to right the ship. Years past with last year included when things start going south they really start going south. The TD drive that put the Coyotes up 35-19 was the kind of a drive that the Coyotes usually don't cash in when they are trying to regain momentum after losing it. That may have been the most impressive thing about the game was just the ability to come up big in a moment when things could have very well went the other way.
I don't want to take anything away from the Coyotes but I wasn't very impressed with the Falcons today. I think the win today would probably equate to the same as winning at Western Illinois. I would rather the Coyotes setup more FBS games against teams such as Bowling Green rather than always taking on Power Conferences where a win is unlikely. That just shows how good the MVFC is. I don't think the Valley gives up much of anything to the MAC. It's not big time or anything but I liked Bowling Green's stadium. Just kind of had a nice look to it.
Now we can't say the Coyotes haven't proven themselves because they have. Now the next step is to sustain this good play for the balance of a season which has been elusive. The gauntlet continues next week against North Dakota in another game that would be well advised to win to keep the playoff hopes in good shape.

I'm still pissed about that blind side hit on Dixon on the opening kickoff. Dude then stood over him taunting him after the play. Dixon's season, and possibly career, look over.
That forced Woodward into action tonight. On a side note, has Jake Mathew played at all either game?

My wife and i went to the game this weekend and thought everything about Bowling Green is first class. Bowling Green is a beautiful campus and, in our opinion, a reflection of the people there. Everybody was very welcoming, vorteoud and helpful. Nothing changed after the loss. A VERY BIG THANKS TO ALL YOU AT BOWLING GREEN!!!

Big win, clearly not the best performance we'll see from the Yotes, still controlled game at FBS team.
Next week is a huge game. There will be a number of big "Dakota" match ups this year, this has a chance to be one of the best.
Go Yotes!

When do we get to start the UND thread? I was looking forward to this game since last year (and every year we play), but it is amped up now...

Stats for Strev. Passing: 19/34, 1 TD, 306 yards, no INT. Rushing: 119 yards on 23 attempts, 3 TDs. All purpose would be 425 yards and 4 TDs, all this coming against an FBS foe. Seeing how many offensive POW awards he wins will be a game in itself.

One of the things that are really great about sports is that it doesn't matter if you are a player, coach, support person, administrator, fan etc. If you really invest in a program and stick with it, You are able to really enjoy when things work out. I have supported the yotes when they weren't winning and now that they are it is really satisfying. The same thing applies to everything else in life. If you work through the tough times, it makes the good times so much better. I know we haven't reached our goals. Not by a long shot. But I'm going to enjoy this one for a week. It's also nice to see CF is more positive now days. By the way, this turn around started under Joe Glenn.
