It's time to move on from Bowling Green. For me, my approach to this game has always been one game at a time. Bowling Green was fun. Bowling Green was a confidence booster. Bowling Green is now history.
We will be playing a far better team than Bowling Green Saturday in the DakotaDome. My hopes is that this game sells out quickly. Our guys will be jacked to play this game and hopefully settle the score from last years debacle.
My understanding of them is that they have a very good running back. I haven't watched film or highlights yet, buy my guess is their front offensive line will be big and physical. This will be another good test for our young D line. We outplayed Bowling Green in every facet of the game except kicking, so my hopes are we continue to get better.
It's time to talk about the upcoming game. Let's go Yotes

Nice win yesterday. This game scares me, we both have improved teams, you maybe even more so than us. Then again, we really mixed it up yesterday, so it should be a battle. If there is to be a run away, I give it to you right from the start and then somehow you hang on. Most likely that won't happen, so may come down to turn overs and kicking game.

YF,
I agree with you 100% about moving on. The Coyotes should have taken a few hours to kind of feel good about themselves (because they deserved that) but now the Bowling Green game has got to mean little to them as they prepare for ND. Remember the Minnesota win and how big of a deal it was. The team was never the same again after that one. Similar to that was the Eastern Washington game as they couldn't build off of it. This program has to learn to build on their successes not go backwards after them. I am not sure I would call North Dakota a much better team than Bowling Green because they just lost to them last year on the same field that SD beat them on. I will agree with slightly better though. One thing I like about the ND game is that the defense will typically play better at home especially in a dome where the crowd will help them out a lot. The play of the secondary is vital because it will allow that one extra guy up front to help against their running game. I think our D-Line will do just enough to hold their own. I think the key to this game will be the Fighting Hawks secondary. If the Coyotes have success passing it's going to be tough for UND to win. They stopped Missouri State. Will that carry over to this Saturday. How does Missouri States offense compare to the Coyotes O.

One thing we should appreciate about #15 is that he is doing this while the coaches from the other team are game planning to stop him. He isn't sneaking up on anyone.

I took a gander at the available tickets. My guess is around 500. Hopefully 0 by Saturday.

I'm guessing this game will be sold out by Saturday.

Traveling to my first Coyote game this season and am expecting a win. I also expect to yell a lot during the game and therefore will stock up on throat lozenges. Suggest others do the same.

Just looked at the tickets online and there are way too many still available in my opinion. We need to sell this game out! Our casual fans are used to walking up to the ticket counter on game day to buy a ticket -- that mentality needs to change. Coyote football tickets need to become a tough ticket to get. Let all your former Coyote classmates know that tickets are going fast and to purchase them online ASAP. Better yet, purchase season tickets. The tailgating for this game will be awesome.
We also need the students to pack the student section and STAY for the entire game. For the life of me, I can't figure out why so many tend to leave at halftime (I know the pregame has something to do with it).
Let's rock the Dome for this and every game this year. This is a great team and tremendous coaching staff. We need to show them the respect that they deserve by doing our part as Coyote faithful.
See you on Saturday. This is the most pumped I've been for a game in quite some time. Go Yotes!

Personally, i think they're going to be shooting thru the rankings like a rocket. I expected much higher than this, especially after taking care of Bowling Green convincingly. The game wasn't as close as the score makes it look. But I'll roll with the placement...always better to be underestimated.

Mind wandering at work, I decided to quickly count up the available tickets on the athletics wesite:
Section A: Visitors Section B: 284 (bleachers) Section C: 228 Section D: 0 Section E: 1 Section F: 0 Section G: 194 Section H: 188 (bleachers) Section I: 59 Total: 954
It was a hasty count, so there may be a little error. I have no idea what ticket sales usually look like the Monday before a game but I am not impressed yet. I can do another count later this week but these are the numbers as of about noon today.

I would think if the count is under 1K that those should be able to sell out by kickoff but who knows. It is going to be hard to not think about this game quite frequently until Saturday. Having a good team gets those juices flowing quickly and having North Dakota come to town as a very salty team does not change that. The Coyotes just have to take one game at a time. They proved themselves against Bowling Green and now another challenge awaits. I have no problem with anyone needing to wait and see and make the team prove itself over a whole season. It we can make this a playoff year then the respect will start to come a little more often. I remember Bob Nielson in one of those hype videos state that the Coyotes have to make the dome sacred ground. The fans also have to make it sacred ground so the Coyotes can also reach their goal of winning all their home games.

Does anyone know if the UND games are archived? Maybe I will watch some tonight and put off mowing my yard for another day.
