Anyone find an article with any of Bo’s post game thoughts? Or did the locker get the only post game feedback he had? Nothing. My guess is when Bo doesn't want to talk, nobody presses him. He wouldn't get away with that at an FBS program, which is one of the reasons he isn't at one...

At the 6:01 mark on the video it sure appears like a pretty good black and blue mark on the left hand.

He starts this presser talking about NDSU, which was the purpose of a Monday presser. He then stumbles into talking about the USD (calls us SDSU twice) game from 3:30 on. I have seen many BP press conferences, as I follow the Huskers, too. Same tired talking points. He points the thumb, not the finger, we didn't execute up to his standard, we didn't prepare well enough.... etc.
He never directly says it, but you can tell that he views USD as being the inferior team, and that he was jobbed by the refs. Its like when Trump was forced to take back his "all sides" statement. I'm guessing his anger management coach advised him to skip the post-game, and move on to NDSU, but he ended up making this presser the post-game anyway. Funny stuff.

Yeah he got jobbed by the refs alright and his Penguins 4 penalties vs the Coyotes 10.

Looking at the stats, we should have blown the Penguins out. Just need to keep the hammer down in the second half and keep adding to leads. That's the scary part, 5-0 and a top 5 team in the country and still haven't put together a full 60 minute game. Maybe saving that for Fargo or the Bunnies. IDK.

He thought they were still playing South Dakota State

That is really odd how he can't keep the names of his two most recent opponents straight.

Time to start selling part of the student section seats to people who want to watch the entire game. The university needs to get inventive here. I have seen at other universities where students check in after the game and any student who attends each game and checks in at the end every game is entered into a drawing for 1 year of free tuition. Last year we gave a year of tuition away every game, this year student section is oversold every game, even after the spanking you gave us and exposed our weaknesses, and even after last weekend. By the way, great playing over Youngstown St!

That's an uncomfortable presser.
Promising season for Youngstown State is now officially in the crapper. The grind of playing SDSU-USD-NDSU-UNI in a row, and getting just 1 win despite playing quite well through that gauntlet, must have crushed the team's will to play on. Pelini is known for being mentally weak and it's not surprising that his players have taken on that trait.
I'd guess that if YSU wins out they are still a playoff team at 6-5. Surely they don't lose to Indiana State or Missouri State, so it comes down to beating SIU in a couple weeks. Their only remotely impressive win would be SDSU but their run last year, close losses, and respect for the MVFC should be factors.

I have no problem with what Bo said. They got beat 35-0 on their home field. He deserves to tell it exactly as it is and for that program that was an inexcusable loss. That was an all around failure.
