Check out the game threads on other forums that followed the game. SDSU was getting mercilessly crucified for their cheap tactics. Everyone was calling them out. Phonies, just phonies. I can't believe they would even try to keep the schtick up. Just admit it was all planned, I'd respect you guys more if you were just honest. It's the smug arrogance we all know, won't allow you to admit you were wrong about something or that your football program would stoop to such dishonest tactics. Instead they do their best to flip it around and call USD classless. News flash Jack fans, no other fan base is trashing USD or calling us cheap, matter of fact, it's quite the opposite, they are calling out the Cramprabbits and your fan base. It appears the feeling is mutual throughout the conference, nobody likes you guys. Bisonville is never a good source. You can check Bisonville, they did not have a game thread going on there, so I was not referencing them. Though I dispute that Bisonville isn't a good source, I've found it to be a great source of information. The posters there know FCS football and pretty decent to chat with. Like most fan bases, if you don't go on there flaming and pounding your chest and just talk football everything is fine.

It was just too hot in the dome! Should have put the AC on for those guys. I for one was very comfortable in the dome and was glad I didn't have to sit outside in that wind and cold for another 3 hours.

Here is my 2 cents and I'm moving on from the state game. Coyotes could have easily won this game. Too many missed opportunities. Lost the turnover battle with 2 turnovers compared to their 1. The pic inside our own 20 was really bad. Can't get stopped at the 1 inch line. That was a huge play. In my biased opinion he scored, but terrible TV angles gave us no chance to have that play overturned. The holding penalty on Streveler's long run in the 4th was so undisciplined. If Jennings pulls under control and is able to just get in the way its a no call, but he flies past the LB and reaches out and grabs him. Easy call for the official to make and nullifies a huge play. Missed FG to tie the game....the list goes on and on Defensively we were OK. Poor tackling in the secondary strikes again on the long TD to Weineke, other than that they really didn't have too many explosive plays. Goederts's 1 hander was insane, can't really defend that. The cramping is what is it is. There is no way to get around it. Can;t prove it one way or the other. I personally didn't feel like it had that much significance in the outcome of the game. The targeting call was terrible. Unbelievable really. That type pf play happens on 95% of running plays and because the OL goes down they feel like they need to step in and prove something. Pretty ticky tack for the booth to buzz about that and now that player misses the 1st round of the playoffs. Another game that we made too many little mistakes to win in the end. Thankfully we get the chance to revive our season in the SE and make some noise in the playoffs. Can't wait. Go Yotes! Very nicely written. I agree with all of the above.

Agree with most of this, especially that the cramping didn't help the Bunnies, we were racking up yards irregardless. But it does show the true character of the team, coach and fans, LAME, in every sense!

This is where we disagree, I think the stalling played a huge factor. Notice when we had them on the run and were going up tempo we were gutting them up the middle for HUGE yardage including a 49 yard TD run by Frederick. When they started the cramping and stalling it gave the defense a chance to set up and regroup. It made a huge difference. We may have had one or two plays pop for big gains or big scores. In a tightly contested 3 point game that can be the difference between winning and losing.

You might be right, Yote 53, I was going by overall yardage and viewing the game live. If I watched it again (not going to, PLAYOFFS!!) I might see it differently as to direct impact.

If you haven’t already, check out the game highlights on the gojacks site at about the 2:50 mark of the video. Decent camera angle of the 3rd and 4th down attempts from the 1 inch line mid 3rd quarter. No question that Streveler scored on 4th down, possibly on 3rd down also. Can’t wait to hear the bunnies rationalize how it was the correct call.

On fourth down it is very close. If I had to guess I think he was probably in by about 3-6 inches but once the call was made on the field I can see why the replay didn't over turn it. That is just the Coyotes luck though because nothing ever goes their way against SDSU.

The league needs to look at the tape and figure out how to become more competent, but I'm not going spend any time thinking about it. I'll take comfort knowing that SDSU's best team ever needed nearly every variable to go their way to beat us by 3 in just Nielson's 2nd season. Time to move on. If this ended our season I'd be stewing but we have a great chance to make a deep playoff run here.

What was the guy looking at when he called no TD? I know that the replay official did not have this angle for the replay and couldn't see the ball to overturn it, but the ref on the field just blew the call...bad!!!

Hey, to get to where we're going you have to beat all comers, officiating is a part of the game! Next up Nicholls State!
