I would say that was an average first half. The Coyotes better put this thing out of reach by the start of the 4th quarter. Don't want to leave Nichols with any chance in the game. The hurry up offense seems to be slowing down more and more the longer the season goes on. I think Nielson just needs to trust Streveler to make the calls on third down. By stopping and taking several seconds to get a play from the sidelines is actually making it less likely that they will convert, not more likely. The offense has the advantage if the play is run quickly.
The stats are pretty even so far but the Coyotes are pretty lucky to get that last field goal. I was hoping the Coyotes would have this thing more under control as far as just the dominance in yardage. As long as the Coyotes play well in the second half the 10 point lead is just fine with me.

10 point lead and we didn't play that great.
Execution in the 2nd half will mean everything.

Defense is playing well and making plays. O was slow to get going, and obviously the pick 6 is no good. Seem to be in control, but only up 10, and Nicholls gets the ball to start 2nd half. Seems like we were all surprised how much NSU is throwing it - trying to take advantage of the depleted secondary, I guess.

The guy running the clock is f@cking us. Running off 2 extra seconds each first down Exactly. We lost a total of about 12 to 16 total seconds. Crap!

I really feel mislead by all the people who acted like this would be an easy win. It's a dogfight, thank God we have 3 ints.

This Nicholls team is more like the team that played Texas A&M. I figured over 51 total score but held out for covering tha 11 pt spread. Now we have to drive for a score to win. The 20 pt spread always seemed generous to me.

That BS call of catcher interference really hosed us on that last drive. That NSt player never signaled fair catch.
