Times starting to be added to some games. Last home game a 1 start due to HS football championship weekend. No time listed for UNI game, which makes me curious. SIU & YSU games in evening. Presumably for heat at SIU, but should make for late nights of travel.

UNI game is on the same day as Hobo Days so likely some Midco telecast issues to work out.

Ok... it's no secret my son is on the team so I may have some inside info.... but I'd never disclose it if I did. What I can say, imho, is those 16 linemen they signed last year and have spent the year getting buff.... well you're going to see a different team this year my friends. The game is won and lost UP FRONT!!! BAM!!! SHAKALAKA!!!!!! GO MY MEN !!!!
I personally know some of the recruits this staff has brought in and I have to say that every one of them I've met are of great character. Big men... great character....SUCCESS!!!!
Our team is going to be more and more a reflection of Nielson... smart, hard working, devoted and caring for the student athlete. A true leader has that human understanding...
Its going to be a great year... and I was going to say everybody needs to start believing... but we're way beyond that... everybody should know the team we have and is being put together now and join in the fun watching the team kick some royal AZ!!!!!!

Anything you can share about the new strength coach? Are they approaching things differently? Any thoughts there? Excited to see a fast and physical USD team this year. Another Dad of a player chiming in here - the boys LOVE the new strength coaching team. They are building up the players in all areas - strength, flexibility and speed! So to recap - look for Bigger, Stronger, more Flexible and Faster players on the field this fall! The players are 100% bought into the program and are seeing amazing results. We truly have a world-class strength team that is going to make a big difference on the football field. Personally, I can't wait to see out boys hit the field this fall.

Olympic lifting is all about explosive power versus just raw power. When training a football player, this is a key differentiation. |

The Atlon FCS pre season top 25 has been released. The Coyotes are not on the list??? When you look at the other teams... there is no reasonable explanation why the are excluded! I think experts are putting waaaaay to much onus on Strevy not being the QB.
