Monica takes back the lead with an old-fashioned 3-pt play, then indy immediately takes it back. Close game.

Duffy was flat-out terrible today. Nobody but Lamb was much better than that and they still have a chance. Silver linings and all.

60-64 Indiana leads with 30 sec. IU forced to use a timeout to avoid a 5-sec violation on inbounding....
and SD gets a TO on the next inbound.

AA blocked with no foul called. I think that might be it.

Well both SD teams end the non-con with a thud. Gotta win the SLT now. Neither SD team is invincible, but I'll still put up good money that we see another all-SD championship game. Lamb and Arens almost saved this one, but we need Duffy to be consistent in the big games.

Coach P in post-game:
Indana did a good job keeping us out of the lane and forcing us to shoot arc shots... we haven't seen any teams with that post size and presence until now this year... In the first half the balls were going in.... Chloe stepped up today... (can't type very fast, missed what she said about the second half)...
... tough to go into a break on a loss, but it makes you hungry, and makes you want to do better...

Dang that would have been a huge win for RPI and probably a top 25. I was unable to listen, what happened in the late 3rd/early fourth that we got down?

They shot 25 percent and turned the ball over.

No. 1 for Indiana's athleticism and strength took Duffy out of it right away but it didn't seem like a big deal because Lamb made some shots in the first half.
Second half was more of a grind and they just didn't have any answers for how to score.

I'm sure Indiana's defensive game plan mentioned Duffy prominently and they have the athletes to execute it. Bottom line: Indiana was just better today. No shame in that, but the fact that USD shot as poorly as they did and were still in the game at the end also says something. You're never as bad as you think after a loss and never as good as you think after a win. If someone had predicted our OOC results as they turned out at the beginning of the season everybody would have suggested that they were being overly optimistic. We have a great team and now off to the Summit Conference. Should be a fun ride.

I am not surprised by the record and wouldn't have been surprised if they would have beat Drake and Indiana for a perfect OOC slate.
