Felt a bit like the Drake game. Good, smart teams are going to do what they can to take your leading scorer out of things. The 'Yotes need to figure out how to deal with that. So does Duffy. Games like that are where she needs to get into the paint earlier and quit fading away. Use the aggressiveness and physicality against the defense a bit. Pump fake every now and again. Draw some contact. Get to the line a few times. Manufacture some offense.

I'm of the mind that most coaching is really done on the defensive end of the floor anyway, and Plitzuweit obviously gets a lot out of her team there, but I agree with the general notion that there are times where some players are given a little bit too much leeway on the offensive end, particularly when things are getting tight and they really need to score. But that's a fine line to walk as a coach. You want your players to play loose and micromanaging can backfire there. Still, I think everybody would like to see a little more whole-court vision and a concrete understanding of objectives on that end. Maybe that means calling a few more set plays, because the 1986 Celtics this team is not. But I have to admit, I think Plitzuweit does a pretty fantastic job for the most part.
