There is a lot more to playing for one of the academies than playing for any other school in America. The Air Force Academy is in Colorado Springs and 10-2 this year in the Mountain West, but are unhappy because one of those losses came at the hands of the Naval Academy. That means even though they beat Army no chance at the Commander and Chiefs Trophy. The CIC trophy is a bigger deal to an AFA, USNA, West Point player than a conference championship. An Academy football player is a Military Officer in Training first, a student second, and a football player third. Bottom line, if Martin has wanted to go to an Academy he would even if he had committed to Alabama, because an Academy player doesn't dream of the NFL but of being an officer in the U.S. Military. For those of you who don't know what that means, when you go to one of the Academies you are swearing an oath saying you are will to give your life for your fellow Americans way of life. They want to flying jets, jump out of planes, ply the oceans depths, as their life goals. If he wants the AFA, God Bless him and wish him well. Can't argue with any of this one bit.

Gonna have to be more roster turnover if we’re gonna have room for all these guys. Wasn’t a lot of seniors, we know Long, Powell, and Falck are leaving the team. Figure there’s gotta be about 10 more going bye bye.

Oklahoma and Ohio aren't common states for us to recruit. Focusing on different areas?

I checked out his hudl site: 370 lb bench and a 525 lb deadlift for a 190 lb running back...that is pushing and pulling some impressive iron.

It will be interesting to see the story on Mike Mansaray as it looks like he was getting interest from some Big 10 schools.

His film is very impressive! If he gets a step he's gone even when guys have an angle on him. Doesn't list a 40 time but he's obviously fast! Also has good soft hands when catching passes and a strong, powerful runner in addition to being able to make quick cuts!!

I don't see this kid on our list, but apparently he was coming here. Guessing Farley is churning up the lies about USD again.

#9 on the list. For Farley crying about not having "fair" recruiting, he seems to like to poach at least one guy every year.

Damn. He was a big recruit. Good thing we never seem to lack WR talent. Best of luck to him.
