She almost looks like my Hannah! Ok, now I'm confused... We've had a "hoopsmom" for a while, and now we have a "hoopmom"? One of you had better upload an avatar. I'm not smart enough to remember who is who.

Ok, is it just me or does this girl remind you of Allison Arens.

I agree 100% especially around the rim!! And she looks like she might be a little better with the 3!

Good call. The low, athletic stance/posture and dribble-drive slashing are very similar. (the knee pads complete the look). I didn't see any defensive highlights (long video), but I'd guess she is similarly good at that end as well. When I think of AA, I usually picture her in that predatory defensive stance, low and alert.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like she is "pushing" with her guide hand on her arc shots, though. Not a good habit, but I suppose that would be hard to correct at this point. I only noticed it because my son is trying to correct that in his shot right now.

I agree kiyoat on the pushing. Her 3s almost look like she's pushing with both hands. Would be interesting to know her 3 pt %. Players can be successful with unorthodox techniques i.e. NFL QBs....

Grace shoots 36% on 3's, 52.6% from the field, & 85.2% on FT's. She averages 21.4/ppg, 5.4 rebounds , 2.79 steals and 3.8 assists per game. I did watch her most recent state tournament game and her defensive stance and movement has good fundamentals but it may take some adjustments to the Div 1 game on that end.

Thanks announcerbob for the stats! Given those numbers I'd say she can shoot anyway she wants!

2020-2021 team
lose 4 seniors(TayFred/Bonar/Duffy/Mac) add 4 freshmen (Krull/Hansen/Watson/Mazurek) add 1 transfer (Williston) zero open scholarships
2021-2022 team
lose 5 seniors (Sjerven/Lamb/Arens/Kunzer/Korn) add 3 Freshmen (Carson/Larkins/Duffney 2021 class) two open scholarships
(Just updating this list with the addition of Aspen.)
Also, ... how will this work with the NCAA allowing an extra year of elligibility? Will any of the Seniors stick around for a 5th playing season? Will they get graduate degrees? (USD is an excellent school for that BTW) If seniors do decide to stay, will a couple of bench players be encouraged to transfer to make room? Will they have to ask a couple of freshmen to take a greyshirt? Will the NCAA allow more scholarships in 2022? Lots of questions.
