The only thing that I feel was still a little shaky was special teams, specifically kick coverage. On a bright note, it looked like Lorber nailed his field goal attempt. Box score says it was 44 yards but I think that was good from 50+.

Congrats to Austin on being the MVFC offensive player of the game!! Very well deserved! He had a great mix of runs and passes!

Great game plan that was well executed!
A few things that stood out to me:
(1) The run game was huge for the 2nd game in a row. Obviously this is a game changer for our offense and opens up a lot of play calling options and keeps the defense guessing. We need this to continue to develop throughout the year.
(2) Defense is finally grasping the new system. I remember the Montana game when it looked like a chinese fire drill at times with guys running on and off the field and not knowing where to line-up. We also had nice rotation with the d-lineman, which is critical to keep them fresh. I also like the pressure packages that were non-existent in the first 3 weeks of the season. The run defense has been solid, which will go a long ways in contributing to our success this year.
(3) Confidence - The guys played with a little swagger this week. Good to see them believing in themselves (and their coaches) again.
There is still a lot to be accomplished this year as long as they focus on the opponent in front of them.
OGAAT!
