Here's the Left half of the bracket with RPI ratings of the teams.... (Great Plains Region) not really but that sounds coolHost: 38 USD vs 136 Central Mich------ 117 UNLV vs 99 UMKC
Host: 131 UT Arlington vs 79 UTSA------- 107 Sam Houston St vs 112 Houston(West Region) Host: 113 Long Beach St vs 102 Santa Clara---------------- 125 UC-Davis vs 87 Tulsa Host: 64 Wyoming vs 144 Northwestern St-------- 89 Weber St vs 93 Boise Stupdated. We want the host teams to lose, which gives us a better chance of hosting quarterfinals and semifinals. The host teams are typically higher attendance schools.

Best average home attendance for NIVC participants: 1. 1667 TCU -------------(#28) 2. 1144 South Dakota --(#43)* 894 3. 1071 Long Beach St -(#47)* 2464. 846 Wyoming --------(#62)* 520 5. 786 Bowling Green --(#70)* 402 6. 739 Georgia Tech ----(#78)* 7. 613 UT Arlington ----(#88)* 619 8. 498 UNLV ------------(#103) 9. 468 Morehead St ----(#116) 10. 466 Boise St -------(#117)11. 442 High Point -----(#126) 11. 442 Miami(OH)-----(#126)13. 408 Houston -------(#139)14. 405 UTSA ----------(#141)15. 395 Sam Houston St (#143) 16. 385 Troy -----------(#151) *=Hosting rounds 1 & 2 updated with eliminated teams and first round attendance. We drew the best, which is good. The problem might be that the game today is in the afternoon due to a schedule conflict with Men's BB. That will likely put a damper on attendance. Hopefully they will look more at our average. Having UT Arlington lose would help, as well. Go Sam Houston?

If we host the 3rd round, will likely be on Tuesday the 10th as home basketball games on Monday and Wednesday.

Good call. Looks like they are fine with our season average (and higher seed). No need to wait for the outcome in Arlington.
I guess this isn't the "great plains" region. It's the Vermillion Region.

Weber State escaped host Wyoming in a 5-set thriller with two extra-point sets! This makes hosting a semifinal likely, if we can go 1-0 against UT Arlington...

Honestly I hope we bring in a guest play-by-play announcer for these later rounds. Our guy is has been serviceable, and certainly better than in the past,.... but there are still times when he just doesn't know what calls have been made, or why, etc.
The guy that called the Summit Championship matches was really good. I wonder if he is the regular Denver guy.

Kiyoat, if you are speaking about the play-by-play person for the live stream, he is a college student at the university. He does not have a color person that is very familiar with the game of volleyball and can solely watch the officials etc and help out.

He has done an admirable job for a volunteer student announcer, and I've definitely seen progress from him from last year to this year both in his ability and his knowledge of the game. With that having been said, I'm just hoping we can up our game a little for the later rounds, or at least give him a color guy. I know we have had a color guy that did a decent job for at least one of our home matches this year. No idea who that was... Was it you?

Pretty sure we just found a qualified volunteer for a color analyst, and one that knows the people who can make that happen....

The guy that called the championship tournament didn't have a color guy, but I thought he was awesome. A little... Flamboyant?... But definitely knowledgeable and entertaining.

I did help the play-by-play person for one match this season. I had that as a bucket list item (to due an event - as a color analyst) and they allowed me to stand in. I had the opportunity to perform PA Announcing for over 40 years but this was my first attempt at doing something as a Color Analyst.

Well you've got my vote for improving the broadcast, whatever that's worth (not much). You improved my experience streaming that match.
