No time for tourney tears. The NCAA tournament committee passed on the Yotes, but the NIVC will give them a chance to prove them wrong. I don't know how soon they will announce the field, but the Yotes are in. Here's the website: LINK

Interesting. So there are 8 host sites for the first two rounds. That's a little different than the WNIT. That makes hosting an even bigger deal. I think we are the highest RPI team in this tournament (will have to check). So we are essentially the overall 1-seed. Nice!

Looks like tickets are available for the NIVC tournament first round matches at the SCSC: (link)One ticket gets you into both Thursday night matches (double-header style). $8 adults, $5 kids. The upper 5 to 7 rows are blocked off. I think that's a great plan. encourage folks to sit closer. So far there have been about 500 tickets sold, including courtside and club sell-outs. That number looks like it does include 100 opponent tickets blocked off at the front of section 105, though. I'm guessing most of the sold tickets so far are season ticket holders given first crack.
