Interesting. None of our coaches follow her on twitter, but lots of other major and mid-major programs do. I can't see any tweets or articles related to her recruiting. Must keep it close to the vest. *edit: you beat me to it. Looks like coaches from Iowa, Nebraska, Creighton, Marquette, DePaul, Colorado etc. are following her, in addition to a bunch of Summit schools (not including USD) No new offer announced, but three of our coaches now finally follow STM's Reese Ross on Twitter. As was said before, she hasn't announced any offers yet that I am aware of, but I would have to assume the offers are there. You can't be that highly touted, and a North Tartan athlete, and a senior, ... without a bunch of D-1 offers. Ross has verballed to Utah. Time will tell but I think both SD schools missed out here. Utah really like the STM players.

Yes, it sounds like Ross is a great player. Not sure why Coach P’s staff didn’t pursue her (allegedly). I do like our 2023 class, though. Could be getting even better soon…

They are currently talking about her on the Minnesota Gopher board as well, and a several people seem to think she wasn’t ready to play at that level. And that’s saying a lot for the Minnesota Gophers. She did have an offer, but it was not well known. Some think she will need a lot of work just to get playing time at Utah.

You never know what's going to happen with a kid in college, but she'd be the first D-I recruit to come out of Kandolin's program that wasn't ready to play from day one.

Looking at the stat lines this morning from last night I noticed that Avery Broughton put up a triple double last night against Winner. 15 points, 13 boards, and 10 blocked shots. Great to see her competing so well coming off the ACL tear from last spring.

Olivia is the first Rapid City Christian player to be selected to play at a D1 school. She has played since 8th grade and has scored over 1800 points!

Technically, Becky Hammon played for RCC when she was in middle school but transferred to RC Stevens for high school. This was when Christian was first starting up and was yet to be a member of the SDHSAA.

Olivia just scored her 2,000th career point, becoming just the second Rapid City kid from any school to hit that mark.
Also, we in Rapid only like to point out the times kids go from public to private schools and scream about recruiting. All the times it goes the other way never really happened.
I have the Ross-Kieffer clash circled on the calendar.

6'5" senior at Wolsey-Wessington with offers from Louisville & Arizona State, among others. Wants to eventually go to med school. I hadn't heard of her until I ran across the above tweet.
Also has a 6'1" sister playing basketball as a freshman at Dodge City Community College

Malory Miller, 6'-5" CWolsey-Wessington HS, Wolsey, SD (Huron area) Ambush North Stars twitter.com/mallorymiller0Offers:earlier -Northern State 2022 June -- BHSU Aug --- Omaha, KC Oct --- Central Arkansas Nov --- BYU, LIU Dec --- Arkansas State, Army, Queens, Morgan St 2023Jan -- Utah St, Louisville, Butler, Arizona St, New Mexico, Liberty, Syracuse, Colorado, Arizona
From a competitive standpoint, Louisville and BYU would be tops IMHO. Maybe Arizona State. Looks like New Mexico offered both sisters, which was re-tweeted by them multiple times... Sometimes being a bench player at a top program isn't what a kid wants, though. Ask Sydni Schetnan about that. New Mexico has a really good med school, too. That's where I'd bet she goes. *update - with Syracuse and Colorado Offers. Also she just visited Louisville...
