I too am disappointed in both lines, which are so far our weakest units in both sides of the ball.
O line is especially frustrating in that they came around to being serviceable by the end of last year. I always complain about this but why does every run take so long to develop? Seems like a big ask for an already struggling o line to hold blocks that long.

15 play, 95 yard drive for a TD. That's something to build on. Glad to see it.

Oh man that drive was sooooo necessary!! I gotta say, Camp is not really selling that option to anyone. Definitely no Scott Jones or Wesley Beschorner but boy it's good to see the endzone!!

I’m trying to figure out if their O-line is just that good or if our D Line is the one struggling tonight?

We have been dominated in the trenches, and this is a recurring issue. Either it’s the strength staff or OL coach. OL is causing Camp to get rag dolled out there and gonna get him killed. Standing up and doing an ole move over and over again. They all look lost. Same ol sh*t ain’t getting it done.

Tip of the hat to the Hawks. Well done. Can’t wait to see your match up against NDSU.

Well this game sucked. The ISU win was handed to us but it was at least fun to watch. This has been horrible. Absolutely disappointing. I don't think UND is a stellar team, but they're definitely better than we are.
UND is killing the clock. There is 0% chance they throw the ball and we still can't stop then.
I need to see serious changes on offense next week. I'm not talking about personnel changes or anything but they need to figure out how to make the offense work with that OL they have.

Normally I'd be bummed for the rest of the night. I was upset for like a minute tonight. It's spring football, that's it. Nobody loses any eligibility over this season. It does not count. Hope the guys can gain some great experience and work out the kinks for when the real season starts next fall.
O line needs some serious work. Not sure if it's players, coaching, or scheme. My money is on the last two because the players have changed over the years but the results are the same.

As a Coyote fan I'm disappointed but ND is the real deal both on O and D weaker on STs. Their QB has had little or no pressure all year, is a good facilitator and their run game is strong. Their OL is all back too. It would be nasty but I'd be tempted as a coach to show our OL their OL line pass protection film. I have a feeling in the next game our OL will definitely be motivated!! I'm not giving up on this team at all!! A lot of FB to be played!! Go Yotes!!!

That was an extremely well coached UND team. Maybe not the most physically gifted team, but very diverse offensively (very hard to defend), attacked all parts of the field, QB didn’t get touched not because of their great OL but because they threw tons of WR and RB screens, play action, and moved their QB with naked and sprint outs. Plus they were gashing us with their boundary run game and we never adjusted at all. If you don’t take away something, you take away nothing.
We are not changing the offense!! You are, who you are. Can’t change a tiger’s strips. BUT we could protect our QB and OL with screens and vary the launch point for the QB with some movement throws. And most important, run the ball a variety of ways. Also, make sure your best players are on the field and touch the ball a lot. Vander Esch and Bell are statistically the best WRs (until Case comes back) and are always open, so why are they ever off the field? There were some nice run game adjustments made because of UNDs line stunts but they were too late.

Good game all! I know it didn't go the way Yotes fans were hoping, but it was definitely entertaining, and there was some impressive takeaways from the game. USD defense is solid, and has some really nice impact players. The forced fumble on the goal line was a great hit, and a key moment in keeping that game close. I was disappointed in the interception as it was such an ill advised throw for a QB that has not made many of those this year, that being said USD capitalized and made a nice grab.
Kai Henry is a stud and I have been really impressed with your freshman QB. Still room for improvement, but doesn't play like a Freshman either. Great to see how many good, young QBs we have in this league. I like Schuster, but Vaughn will get his playing time too. Camp is going to have a nice career, and I was really impressed with Gronowski last weekend.
UND still has a lot of little things to clean up, but has still had a great start to the season with our line play being some of the best I have seen from this team in a long time. QB needs to start hitting on some of the deep shots, but the RB room is looking very promising for the next few years.
While I would agree that the short week sucked for both team, and the travel sucks too, I don't think that is what cost USD the game. Best of luck against Misery State. Looking at the schedule, you guys could go on a roll her over the next few weeks.
