We can use the space to gather what we know about Summit non-con games. So far, we know the Yotes are playing in the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands.
11/25 Northwestern
11/26 Texas A&M
11/27 Pitt

UNLV has released their nonconference schedule. They open on the road at Oral Roberts, and later on in the season play UMKC at home. UNLV finished 16-9 last year, and lost in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West tournament. We should see 2 competitive contests between the Running Rebels and these 2 Summit League teams,

It would have been nice to have an actual home game against the Gamecocks, in Verm. However, this is going to be a fun game to watch, as is the other game between Arizona and Louisville. And all signs point to us being able to have fans!

Wow. Three perennially elite teams (including two final four teams) and the Yotes playing in Sioux Falls? Ticket instabuy. What a great opportunity for the team!
"The Invitational, which features Arizona vs. Louisville and South Carolina vs. South Dakota, will take place on Nov. 12 and will be televised on ESPN Networks. Tickets will go on sale at a later date."
It's described as a double-header, so I will assume we will play one of the other two teams as well (either one would be great).

On the Western Illinois boards, I see they have non-con road games against Notre Dame, Butler, Incarnate Word, and Tarleton State. They are hosting the Illinois Compass Challenge, against Eastern, Northern, and Southern Illinois.

Drake has published their non-con schedule. We are playing them in Des Moines on 11/15. They are also three playing three BIG10 schools, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Iowa, which hopefully will help their NET, which would then help our NET. Creighton has also published their non-con, and they host us in Omaha on 12/16. They have also scheduled games with Omaha 11/13, and SDSU 11/21. Great news! Another plus is that Drake and Creighton both draw a decent number of fans, so the game atmosphere will be more tournament-like than when we play in Macomb or KC. Lots of USD alum in Omaha and Des Moines, too. |
