Before this game I chalked it up as an L. Leipold is a good coach and he'll get KU turned into at least respectable. I figured P5, KU should win this. But after watching the first half I'm pissed. We should be running these bums off the field. KU is terrible. We're pushing them around but we're killing ourselves with penalties and our skill guys are not executing. Our QB needs to get that ball out on time. Go through the reads and get the ball out. The O line is giving you all day. Amazing. I'm praising the O line and the D line and the defense. The lines look great. Very happy with their physical play. With all due respect this is the way this program is going and what it is right now. I am not pissed as I have come to expect this from many years of the same old, same old. It is sad that I don't even get upset anymore. just kind of laugh it off. |

I get that they have won 5 conference games in the last 10 years, but I have never seen such a thing before. It's absurd that we can be so mad about losing to a Power 5 team by 7 at halftime. |

Personally this game hasn't been a great one for the Coyotes so the negativity should be given some slack and is probably mostly deserved. At least the O-Line is actually playing well. O I agree they haven't played great, but I'm seeing more positives than I honestly expected. Defense is playing really well. OL is controlling the LOS which is something we haven't seen in a long time. Theis looks good running the ball. The only glaring negative right now is Camp, and he's a freshman. That can be fixed. After watching this spring season, I'm not gonna be too negative at half time of the first game down 7 to a big 12 team. |

I am generally in favor of starting the freshman QB if all other things are equal. It look like Camp is going to have to play much better for that equal to mean anything.

Kansas can have the label of a big 12 team but that doesn't make them better than half the MVFC programs. Just because a team is in a power 5 conference does not automatically make them good. The Coyotes tend to peak at the beginning of most seasons and tend to play their best right out of the gate. Imagine if KU had to play in the Fargo dome what a whipping they would take from the Bison.

I know this isn't the greatest thing in the world but that stud running back on the Jacks just scampered 49 yards for a TD to give the Jacks a 7-0 lead. We should keep an eye on what the so called rival is doing because turning a blind eye to it is not going to do anything to make the Coyotes any better. The game is on FS1.

I will admit I kind of like this Camp kid. I hope he is able to get it together.
KU get the triple for a 10-0. It feels like the lead is more like 21 the way the offense is flowing.

SDSU is better than CSU. Not surprising. That is respectful of you to think that and I agree. The Old school way of thinking has a tendency to believe that CSU is better. I always stand up for the so called lower level of play. I still think D2 football is a quality level of football and a large handful of their programs can give most D1 FCS teams a run for their money. Kind of like when everyone thought that USF would not stand a chance going into the Alerus Center 2 years in a row. They ended up splitting and were probably the better team over those two games. |
