Bob was correct but the officials were to arrogant to acknowledge the situation and right it. Good officials do that.

Think of it this way. Let’s say team A is on offense. Team B is lined up. Both teams ready to go. Then team A subs in #22 replacing #23. #22 is known for running routes but not blocking. So the coach of Team B recognizes Team A isn’t going to run the ball so he’s now allowed to make a substitution to match up. As #22 comes on the field the ref now is obligated to stand over the ball to prevent it from being snapped and giving Team B time to substitute.

Officiating is always going to be controversial in closely contested, superheated rivalry games, but, then again, we're not their rival, but just horrible, horrible people. Bunny people, who personify the Dunning-Kruger Effect, are convinced that there should never have been a second put back on the clock when, as was mentioned, there probably should have been two and that the two textbook targeting calls were bogus. Coupled with the blatant and blatantly stupid personal foul by # 1 right along our sideline maybe they just have a dirty team. Personally, I was upset when the flag was picked up on the pass interference call in the end zone. We had other penalties that really hurt us too, but, overall, I thought we were just the better team yesterday and deserved to win. All in all incredible game with an obviously thrilling ending for Coyote fans. Oh...one more thing, a big thank you to SDSU for continuing to employ Stiegelmeier as your head coach. Rarely has someone done less with more.

Curious what others think. In my opinion outside of the bunny fan section blue fans seemed to me to be lucky to occupy 10% of the seats. Bunny fans frustrate easily and may not return to the Dome. I know some that didn't come to the game after the 2019 loss to the Yotes.

I honestly was surprised at the lack of blue in the Dome. I did think that it might end up 2/3s red and 1/3 blue, but i don't think it was close to that. Maybe they didn't come to Vermillion because we're such bad people who treat them so horribly as they're claiming.

My sister is an obnoxious super blue fan, lives in Brookings, and had never missed a game when the two met in Vermillion. Oddly enough it was never even a consideration for her to go to the game this year.

Fine by me if the overly sensitive stay home. If you can't handle seeing another team win you probably shouldn't go to a sporting event.

Honestly, I wish they weren't allowed outside of Brookings. In the day and age of travel bans to stop spread of this or that, I can't think of a more disgusting disease than being a state fan.

I guess I was at a different game. There were plenty of Jacks fans and that is the loudest I have heard an opposing fan section cheer but I have not been to every NDSU or SDSU home game so who knows. There were alot of Jacks fans on the East side. The Jacks fans actually made it difficult on the Coyote O at times with how loud they were.

Gonna have to disagree there. There was probably 8K in the building and I would say 1500 or more were Jacks fans.

Wrong. There wasn't 1500 Jack fans there. Probably half that. I was actually very surprised there was that few.
