Color me impressed if that happens. our other offer with length is 6-1 Libby Fandel out of Cedar Rapids, IA. She holds offers from SDSU, Drake, Marquette and BYU in addition to USD. Would be a pretty big deal if we got her as well. |

Good Post players are hard to get. Talking to Coach Jewett he wont talk about recruiting any girl by name but said we have a big list of girls they are talking to nothing will happen until April sounds like after high school season is over

With well-respected Coach Megan Duffy from Marquette taking a job at Virginia Tech, there have been a couple of de-commitments from that school, including 2025 post Amani Jenkins from Des Moines (page 2 of this thread). I don't think we realistically have a shot at her given the high-majors offering, but our coaches follow her, so I thought I'd at least mention it.

Was updating this 2025 thread, and it looks like our two recruits have had different reactions to the new staff. Bartlett has retweeted and liked several USD tweets, but Schlagel has not. She does still list her status as a USD commit, so no reason to be too worried... but I'll feel better when we know more. Schlagel is a huge recruit in my view. Possibly the next Grace-type player.

Looking back at her commitment in this thread, you mentioned that she doesn’t publicize her recruitment on social media much. That’s probably still the case. However, if my daughter was unsure about her commitment after the coach she committed to left, this is how I’d want her to proceed. I’d tell her to not immediately decommit and quietly and thoroughly re-analyze her options before doing anything big. I bet Carrie will lock her back down though. Go Yotes. |
