The only game being played tonight involving a team on either USD or sdsu's nonconference schedule (SDSU played Iowa State and got beat by about 20)

USD was ahead of SDSU in the NET until Feb 17, when USD beat St Thomas on the road and SDSU beat WIU on the road. Hopefully USD's win over WIU tonight, combined with the Cyclones getting drilled will be enough to put the Yotes back ahead of the bunnies. Coach P said in her postgame interview with Carter, that the updated NET comes out somewhere between 4:30 and 9:00 every morning.
Now we wait.

My gut feel (likely more like my wishful thinking) is that the Yotes leap frog the Bunnies after tonight's game. What is your call, kiyoat?

I doubt that the Yotes will jump 2 places based on 1 game. But selfishly, I also would like the 2:30 time slot (and the match-ups).

I really don't know what difference it makes, 2 or 1, 1 or 2, but what really matters is that we nabbed a share of the conference title. Also, and I realize when it comes to Women's hoops that it's "Home on the Range" (never is heard a discouraging word), but it would be nice if during the tourney we could start putting together an entire game instead of just one dominant half which seems to be somewhat of a trend lately. Might work against most teams, but it won't cut it against the bunnies.

I was surprised how much a single 28 point win improved our net efficiency, but I agree that jumping the Jacks (ha) might be a tall order. |
