8 years ago I was thrilled when we lost to 2 seed Stanford by 19 on a neutral court. Today we beat a 2 seed on their own court by 14, leading by double digits for nearly 40 minutes.

This is validation and vindication for the 2020 team that likely would have been a sweet 16 too. No doubt in my mind.
This destroys the tired arguments about not getting a win in the dance. Now we have gone just as far as any Summit team ever. And proven we were underseeded.

And not just any 2 seed, one of the true powers in the sport. 12 straight Sweet 16s. National champions in 2005, 2012, and 2019. Only 14 losses in the last FIVE years. Stormed right onto their court and completely shut them down.

Well, well, well. Look who's still dancing. Way to go ladies! Winning tournament games is awesome, but I'm even more impressed with how you handled yourselves in a hostile environment and a physical game. Controlled the game the whole way and looked like you've been there. Keep it rolling!
