This is validation and vindication for the 2020 team that likely would have been a sweet 16 too. No doubt in my mind. This destroys the tired arguments about not getting a win in the dance. Now we have gone just as far as any Summit team ever. And proven we were underseeded. I'm just fine with a 10 seed, unless we can break through and get a 7 or better. Eliminate the possibility of having to play the top team in the country on their home floor. That being said, let's get some respect in the future and stop having to sweat through the SLT. |

Meanwhile, the Jacks mopped the floor vs. the 15-18 Gophers. Ho hum. I want them to win the WNIT, so we can pull up necro posts from them about how pointless that tournament is, after we won it. As I recall, some of those pricks took great joy in announcing that we were #65. |

I see South Dakota trending on Twitter. My favorite comment "South Dakota really snatched the tires off two of the top 3 draft picks in one weekend".
Two wins is fantastic. Completely embarrassing these teams and their lottery draft picks is insane. So proud of this team.

But if they weren't already, Hannah and Chloe should be getting some serious looks after this weekend. They've gone toe to toe with some of the supposed top prospects in the country and embarrassed them on the big stage. |

If SDSU were to win the WNIT, which I don't think they will, I for one would say the same thing when USD won....#65 baby (or #69 now technically I guess)!
Anywho, congrats on the win today....went in there and freaking dominated them. I, for one, love it.
If only Kim Mulkey had still been their coach, I'da loved to see her go ballistic.

Watched the Baylor press conference. Lots of respect for their opponent. No excuses made. Talked plenty about how we had size and physicality that proved to be too much for them, specifically in the guards. That was something I wasn't expecting at all going into the game. They came out slow, got punched in the mouth, and didn't respond well enough. Basically an even game after that opening 11-0 run, which is true.

How great is it that the team will be able to get some sleep, get their heads set, and watch Michigan/Villanova play from home? This extra day seems like it could be a big perk for us.
