Curious to see some highlight reels on Sierra? - She has her own YouTube channel full of them! (nice self-promotion)
Here's the most recent:

Maggie Miester to the Jacks… I figured we probably wouldn’t take two scholarship Libero/DS in one class. That's a big recruit for them, and another addition to the budding rivalry between these programs. She will no doubt have some extra motivation to beat the Yotes now...

I was trying to find some highlight clips or articles on Ava, but there really isn't much out there. An article from a year ago interviewing her HS coach: Volleyball power Nova Classical wants to keep winning — and something more importantThat charter school in St Paul is fairly new, and known for its high academics (nice). She has three older sisters that all play volleyball. Northern Lights is a top AAU club in Minnesota. She was listed as 5'-5" and a Libero in an earlier roster for Northern Lights, but in the recent one she is a 6'-0" OH. described as "multi-talented", so I'm thinking 6-rotation type player. - All good things. I'll guess that her growth spurt maybe made her an under-the-radar hitter? Sounds like we got another steal. Nice job! Ava (right) with two of her sisters

Nice find! I know nothing about her (so much for my Twitter sleuthing…)
Let me try embedding the tweet:
Nope. Twitter acting up for sure. Thanks, Elon!

Wow. So The fact that USD has three commits (good ones) at this point of the year is not normal. This is the second year in a row we have locked in a great class in about two months of open recruitment.
Let me provide a little perspective. Right now:
There have been about 245 commits to D-1 schools (out of an estimated 1,000 in a class - so 25%)
127 schools have at least 1 commit (38% of the 334 schools) 68 schools have at least 2 commits (20%) 32 schools have at least 3 commits (10%)
Remember, this includes all the P-5 schools, too. That 10% of schools that have at least 3 recruits includes nine mid-majors: UNLV, Long Beach State, Marquette, Liberty, WKU, James Madison, UL-Lafayette, GCU and USD. and USD's class is better than most of those.
Just mind-blowing. Coach Williamson said she didn't want to leave, because she doesn't feel like the program has reached it's ceiling (heavily paraphrased)..... so I guess she is determined to make this the premier mid-major in the country.
I can live with that.

Kiyoat, After watching some videos it appears she is right-handed. The videos were showing her playing on the left side, so it will be interesting to see if she switched since the videos were taken.

Interesting. I guess I often assume a player is left-handed when they are listed as a "Right-side" or "opposite" hitter, as she is in Prep Dig. That's probably not always true, though. Fun fact: Her big sister is kind-of a big deal at Iowa State. Eleanor Holthaus just finished her career there in 2022, and was HM All-American, as well as a 4-time All-Conference OH/RS (she is also right-handed). cyclones.com/sports/womens-volleyball/roster/eleanor-holthaus/11976Like her sister, both of them played some as a Setter in High School, according to the write-ups at ISU and Northern Lights. I like seeing that with BB players who are either late or early bloomers, and have some experience playing both post and guard/PG at high levels. I'd guess the same might be true for VB players that have both back-row and front-row experience. Makes them a well-rounded player that understands the overall game. Leanne herself was an OH/Setter in college. Good stuff.

How talented has her high school/AAU team been? Perhaps playing setter has been the best way to get her on the court, but she’ll be moved to OH moving forward?

As far as I know, Northern Lights is the top AAU team in MSP. Basically the equivalent of North Tartan in GBB. That's my impression after looking at Prep Dig rankings, anyway.

A setter in the 2025 class followed by Runde: (AVH will be our only Setter on the roster in the 2025 Fall season) Billie Reiter 5-11 SetterGreendale HS, WI (Milwaukee) Milwaukee Sting twitter.com/ReiterBillieIn August she was listed as Prep Dig's #5 player in Wisconsin/ #1 Setter. (now she is lower on the list, but I can only see the top 5) Likely one of the highest-ranked Wisconsin players still not committed in this class
