This is the problem every week. Their athletes are just better than ours. Then we have major issues that may not be solvable. This is the kind of performance that makes you question everything and everyone. If you're just starting to question it now, I want some of whatever you've been drinking all season.

Sometimes all you can control is effort and we don't even have that today. This type of effort gets people fired

How did this even happen? Until this week I had felt sorry for the defense because they played so well, only for the offense to constantly go 3 and out or turn it over. Now they can't make a stop to save their lives.

I'll say it again this week. This team sucks.

If you think this a QB issue, you are the one smoking something. Watch the game, see our DB's out of position, watch where he has the LB's. Our D is not prepared for the leading FCS rusher along with an accurate short range QB. No I don’t think it’s a QB issue. I know it is. You have a QB that can’t move and holds on to the ball way to long. The last 3 weeks they have been calling for the back up and now you got him. He comes in last week and all of a sudden they go tempo? Why? That is Camps strong point that is what he was recruited for not this let’s take 3 minutes to call a play. You are right the defense looks like crap but every unit has a bad game. But don’t sit there and tell me he is better than Camp

At some point, you're gonna have to let go of that vendetta about your kid not seeing the field.

Bouman handing the ball off to Stenstrom up the gut was not on my bingo card today...

Wow, how the tables have turned in just a week. Funny how we are now the worst of the worst. No doubt, the defense was worse than awful especially with open field tackling and cutting guys loose in zone coverage. A very different defense than we have seen in the past games. Not quite sure what was going on other than the threat of their run game made our defense timid. YSU did do a great job of mixing runs and passing game to keep us off balance.
For all the nay sayers on Bouman at QB, I feel he had a pretty good day based on the hand he was dealt with protection at times. 100% guarantee he made 7 throws Camp wouldn’t have made or more important seen. 3 to Elidor (the one to the goaline, the one deep post and the TD) , 2 to Galbreath, and 2 to Bell. Which by the way reminds me, please get the ball in Bell’s hands more, he’s the only one with run after catch ability in the WR crew and if he catches it on the run vertically with space it’s a possible TD every time and it showed on the punt returns also.

At the very worst, bouman was a competent QB. Maybe a little indecisive and held onto the ball too long, but he wasn't bad. We must not coach our quarterbacks to throw the ball away. Bouman isn't going to run away from people outside the pocket. Hopefully with experience, living to play another down becomes natural. Camp isn't particularly good at it either.

No doubt Bouman does things that Camp can't. We need to roll with him and build an offense around his strengths and abilities.
I'm intrigued and impressed by Stenstrom finding unique ways to get on the field as well. Now that our season (and likely coaching staff) is officially done for, I'd like to see us rotate in more freshmen just to see what they can do and show them that they have a place on this roster before they decide to transfer out. Put another way, player development and pride are all we have left.

I really struggle to understand your infatuation with Carter Bell. I mean, he's alright but let's stop pretending he's the gold standard of what a receiver should be at this level. He'd barely see the field at the xDSUs and that's the standard I'm choosing to go by at this point.
