If you’re not watching…. I don’t blame you…. We’re making the tommies look like a much better team than they are.
34-23 tommies 2nd 2:40 left.

As bad a half of basketball as I've seen this team play in several seasons.

They’ll lose the horsepower battle some nights but Ruth Sinn’s crew isn’t going to get outsmarted or out prepped very often.

If we come back and win then I’ll be pleasantly surprised - but I can’t watch anymore. We just don’t have it today.

Still a bad loss at home. This is a horrible loss. We should not be losing to a 2nd year D1 team from D3 at all.

We just can't put together a complete game. We're definitely consistent in that regard. We can be good when we commit to playing defense but that is the exception, not the norm.

Out coached. Out played. Embarrassing. Where was the intensity the entire game that showed up in the 4th quarter?

The defensive intensity not showing up until you’re down 20 is on the players. Somebody’s got to set a tone. That’s just unacceptable.

Season-altering loss IMO. In all likelihood they will be 7-7 in two weeks and probably be looking at finishing 4-5 in the conference. They will need to pull out a win on the road in ND or at ORU to get to 3rd now.
I think the big key was giving up all those layups in the first three quarters against a team without an obvious size or athletic advantage. Wonder if all the games and travel this week was a factor.
The Yotes have slowed their pace recently due to a lack of depth, and today it seemed they only got into a rhythm when they got quick offense. Late in the clock they got nothing today.
St. Thomas is improved from last year - they are not a D3 team. They have had a few close losses. That said, definitely a real bad loss. My buddy and I have said this Yotes team isn't good enough to assume anything, and we saw proof of that today.

This has been such a frustrating season because of injuries, new roles, faces etc. and having to mesh that together. I’m trying to trust the process but our fall from grace is truly a humbling experience.
