This team can turn the ball over at an alarmingly high rate in a variety of ways.

Michigan is one of the top teams in the big ten we played hard on defence but turnovers and foul trouble killed us. Duffnerr and DePeter had good games Michigan will be the best team we face this year

Michigan was big and physical. We had too many turnovers. And gave up too many o boards. I also felt we overdribbled on offense. Didn’t seem to move as much without the ball and ball movement suffered. They hedged so hard and we had the slip, but struggled getting the ball there. Good game to make us better.

I know it’s a new year with new players, but if you are truly a fan, you need to learn their names. Carly Duffney, and Tori DePerry. We deal with enough State fans intentionally calling them by the wrong names….

A few years ago, I called out someone on here for continually screwing up Chris Nilsen's name, and got my chops busted by a couple people. These kids deserve to be ID'ed correctly. I won't bring up the matter of punctuation.

Although we cannot come to the games given the 5 Hour drive each direction, know that we are always watching and supporting the Yote ladies. (We will be there when they play at St. Thomas!) And I happen to know that a lot of the former members of the #momsquad are also watching as often as they can, as we text each other during the games. You will always have our support.

Massey likes the Wildcats by 14: 74-60 Warren Nolan also likes the Wildcats in a 6-point game: 68-62 pregame article: COYOTES GET ARIZONA IN BATTLE 4 ATLANTIS CONSOLATION GAMETHE WILDCATS Arizona (5-1) picked up a win over Memphis in game one before falling to Ole Miss 56-47 in the semifinals of the Battle 4 Atlantis. The Wildcats, picked seventh in the preseason Pac 12 polls, are receiving votes in both the Associated Press and coaches' polls. Head coach Adia Barnes turned the program into a national name with the postseason run to the national title game in 2021. Arizona finished as the national runners-up that season and have been to the round of 32 each year since. Sophomore guard Kailyn Gilbert (5'-8" #15) leads a balanced scoring team with 13.8 points per game. She's joined in double-figure averages by: 5th Year Forward Esmery Martinez (6'-2") Sophomore Forward, Maya Nnaji (6'-4") and Senior Wing Sali Kourouma. (5'-11")

This is a very big roster. Four players between 6-2 and 6-4.
Looking at last year's stats for Arizona, they seem to be a very good ball-control team in terms of turnovers. They don't commit turnovers, and they get a ton of steals. Interestingly, they didn't rank well in the PAC 12 in blocks or rebounding, despite the size.
They were also one of the best scoring teams in the conference, but only average in 3-point shooting. I'm thinking they like to feed the paint.

The bad news is we have more turnovers than points. The good news is we're only down by 1 point after 1 quarter. The turnovers are maddening!

Yotes only down 8-9 in the first quarter! Great switching defense, slacking off the ball and denying post touches.
We just need to get some shots to drop against the Wildcats’ pressure defense.

They look pretty composed against this press.
