The Yotes should be competitive in this game. DePaul has one 6’3 girl, but she is a freshman. They have a lot of freshman, and a few transfers. So they are in a similar situation as us. Head coach Doug Bruno has been there a long time and he’s very experienced, and is a very nice guy. Many of us parents talked to him a bit when we were down in St. Thomas two years ago.
If they win the first game, they will likely have to face Michigan. The article says that ESPN is picking up the championship game and the consolation, so if they win the first game, we will at least get to see one game on ESPN.

Good team win played solid game except we need to cut down on turnovers. DePaul was 2 and 1 losing only to Louisville by 7

Really nice win. They got beat badly in the possession game but the shooting efficiency difference was so vast that they were in complete control. Might have a couple tough matchups coming up but this is a good confidence-builder. Win or lose tomorrow their game on Monday afternoon will be on an ESPN network.

We didn’t watch the game, but followed along on the stats site. There seemed to be an awful lot of fouls by the Coyotes in the latter part of the fourth quarter, when they were up by almost 20 points. That’s how it got so close, much closer than it should’ve. Need to work on that.

Michigan is big and very good inside we are having trouble boxing out giving up 9 off rebounds to them. the disappointing thing is 14 turnovers just forcing bad passes
