Best 5 minutes this team has played in a long time. Now we’re cooking. Yep. The potential is there, just need some more consistency. We also need to learn how to play with the lead….

Really strong 3rd Q on D definitely and scoring! And ft shooting got better!
Too bad UNI had their big get hurt in the 1st Q! Icing her shoulder--hopfully not too serious!

This was a great win for the Yotes. This team is starting to figure things out and in a year when there is no power at the top of the Summit, I truly believe the Coyotes will be in the mix for a run at the title. I love the change up for the lineup. DePerry is too good to not be getting starter minutes. She is a playmaker and reminds me a lot of Kyah Watson from a few years ago, always around the ball. There is a very strong 8 rotation with Kieffer, Hempe and Mazurek all providing solid minutes. I'm very curious to see if Grange can come back and find minutes. I liked what I saw out of her in her few games last year. If Larkins doesn't win MVP of SL this year with the types of numbers she'll likely put up, then the voting process is a joke. While this is just one game, it's got me excited for conference play.

19-point win!
A couple of you predicted it.
This team looks unstoppable at times, then has lapses back to earth

I WILL say that the Midco Sports + app on my iphone is shitty and does not work. I suspect that it needs a fix of some sort (as many apps do). But my Roku apps on my home TVs work fine, and I can also stream on my phone from the browser (MCS+ website)... So it's not perfect, but well worth it for me. My TVs had the espn app on them so it was easy to watch the games on TV, but with this SLN I can't even figure out how to cast it from my phone to the TV. Does anyone have some advice on how to cast it to the TV? I'm able to cast high school games from my phone to the TV, so I'm sure there is a way to cast the Summit league network to the TV.

Sounds like you have a smart TV of some kind. You should be able to add the Midco Sports+ app to your lineup of other apps (like the ESPN one). There should be a settings or home menu where you can choose to add apps. Then just browse or search for it.

If Larkins continues playing with the kind of efficiency she did in this one and against DePaul the awards will take care of themselves because the wins will be there. She had a lot of numbers last year but it wasn’t always the most efficient work due to a lot of factors outside of her control, and some inside her control. But she’s been truly exceptional in those two wins in particular … and I think there’s more to come.

With Boffeli getting injured and only playing 3 minutes, this should have been the result, but it's nice to see them *do it.*
Third quarter was excellent. They were really sharp in guarding the dribble and forced a lot of tough shots.
I'm thinking the turnover problem is going to be an issue all year. Hopefully they can rebound well enough so they don't get killed in the possession game and then can win games with shooting efficiency.
I like what Kayla is doing personnel-wise, too. DePerry deserves to start, so I hope that continues. I think there are some ancillary benefits when teammates see someone who plays that tough and physical, above and beyond the results that the player provides. Carley got off to a rough start shooting the ball this year, and she is still tentative with the ball. Hopefully she will find it and contribute off the bench. I like seeing Hempe get more minutes as well, and she's deserving of them. This goes to a more macro view of mine...they need to max out this season because SDSU is much more vulnerable this year, and if that means playing DePerry and Grange more at the expense of younger players, so be it. Grace is a top-10 Coyote player and even though she played in an NCAA tourney as a freshman, it would be disappointing if she didn't make it back there. And while there's an obvious caveat that a lot of things can happen in the next two years, SDSU will be an overwhelming favorite next year.
Speaking of Grange, it will be interesting to see how they work her in when she returns. I would guess that NAA will lose some minutes, but I know Kayla likes her defensive pressure. It's a much better problem to have than last year!

Or should I be looking for this app somewhere else? That's where I found the app for my phone.

There is a statement on the site that requires a Roku in order to download as well as Apple TV and a few other software/apps that are compatible. I was not able to cast from the laptop either when I went back to read the info. Google does not "support" the app according to my less than 5 year old Sony. You can access Midco Sports Plus anywhere in the US using any of the supported devices listed below. Desktop web browsers Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge (Internet Explorer not supported) Android mobile/tablet iOS mobile/tablet Amazon Fire TV Apple TV Roku

Strange that you can’t at least cast from your phone/tablet. Maybe see if your Smart TV has an internet browser? In any case, I’d give Midco customer service a ring. Sorry I don’t know more. As Oldhare said, Sony has its own SmartTV technology, which is not supported. Many other SmartTVs use Amazon, Apple or Roku. Another solution for you would be to buy a stick for one of those three streaming devices (Amazon, Apple, Roku) and plug it into your TV, as if it were not already a SmartTV. Maybe there are still some deals out there from cyber Monday?

That was a terrific win last night. UNI is a solid team and the Yotes really handled them.
Still things to clean up, but this team is improving and doing some nice things. Larkins was terrific. When she plays like that they are a tough team to beat. DePerry is a scrapper and gives them a real element of toughness. Hempe seems to be finding her stroke. Demers and Manzurek give them a solid 1-2 punch in the post.
