Britt Prince has been a triple double highlight on the summer ball circuit since 2020. Have your doubts, okay; just acknowledge her skills when shown Nov 16th, and beyond.
Added to Nissley, Markowski, and Potts, the 'Prince-flavored' Huskers will test Amy Williams' $950K/yr coaching skills - she may be bewildered and confused.

Here's what Massey's match-up tool spits out (take with a grain of salt):
W vs St Louis .......72-68 W @ Air Force ......66-63 W vs LMU ............68-58 L vs Nebraska* ..59-73 W vs Bellevue ......86-39 W vs NC Central ...76-59 L vs Arizona St* 63-68 W vs Dayton* ......69-63 W vs Montana St ..64-58 L @ Northern AZ 71-74 L @ UNI..............65-72 W vs Wyoming ...63-61 W vs Mt Marty ......91-36 W vs SDSM&T ......81-48
* neutral floor
I agree with Nebraska, ASU and NAU beating us, but we beat UNI pretty handily last year. And Wyoming did the same to us to finish our WNIT season. So I'd switch those results. Four losses would be pretty expected, I'd think.

I haven’t looked too deep into it yet but this looks like a decent first year schedule for the team. There’s going to be some bumps, and maybe a blowout or two, but I do think we’ll be better than most think. I predict 3 losses in non-con (Neb, ASU, and Wyoming)
I like that we’re opening with d1 competition and not an naia and saved that for the tune up stage into conference play. I wish we could’ve gotten an additional d1 in there instead of 3 nons but take care of business this year and we’ll see the opportunities return.

Looks like maybe 400 tickets left for the Nebraska game. Schedule is good some easy games where everyone plays yet some challenging games. One disappointment is Creighton is not on the schedule though last 2 years didn't go well before we had a run on them. Nice about playing them they would come to Vermillion and many yote fans would go to Omaha

If we're going to play lower league non-conference opponents, I wish we would play more competitive D-II teams like Augustana or USF. It would be a better gate draw as well.

I don't ever want to see area D2 teams on the schedule. If you must schedule lower level schools, schedule an NAIA school. We get all the competition we need from every other game. Selling a couple extra tickets (and it would only be a couple) is not worth the potentially crushing upset.

I watched a NAIA Dordt team that had SDSU on the ropes until they had foul trouble the last couple minutes. And as far as D2 Augie lost to NAIA DWU. So not sure we can easily say that an NAIA team is going to be an easier game than a D2. I agree it’s nice to have those easier games. I just don’t think it’s as easy as going NAIA over D2.

So, we're too scared to play a D2, but we're more than happy beating the crap out of lowly Mount Marty every year? That we're proud of? I certainly can understand not playing anyone below our category in football when it works against you in just making the playoffs. Win or lose. In basketball no matter what happens, to get to the big dance, we have to win the Summit League tourney. If we're so good to make an at-large invite like we were not too many years back, no D2 would touch us. If we played Augie it would be a lot more than just a couple tickets compared to Mount Marty OR School of Mines.

You also probably have a little better chance of running into a kid you missed on and might want to talk to playing some better D-II teams (granted Augie fell off a cliff last year).

I don’t see a problem playing a d2. We’re d1 for a reason so If we can’t beat a d2 then we have no business playing d1’s. As far as Augie, I don’t see any possibility of them ever being scheduled as long as the U’s position is no on them joining the summit and I’m personally very okay with that.
