I completely agree with Bosco on this one. I think the game is going to be close and decided in the fourth quarter, with USD hopefully coming out on top.
The best news of this game for me is the fact that NDSU had trouble stopping UNI's mobile QB, so hopefully that continues against Dante's Inferno.
Also Yote 53, I agree Lakes will be banned once he crosses a line. All are welcome until they spout off too much. I will leave the banning up to the three admins.

yotes will stack the line with 8 or 9 defenders consistently to make the Bison beat them with the pass. I would do the same thing with our RFR QB. The kid is a gamer and is big and fast so how he handles the pressure will decide the game. If the Bison can sustain drives offensively then the Bison will win....period. If they cannot keep your offense off the field then it will be a long day for the Bison and a good chance of a Coyote win. Your punter and kicker better keep the ball away from Smith, a true freshman, he is electric and it is only time before he returns multiple punts and kick-offs back for TDs. Our kicking game is not very good and kick-off coverage is mediocre at best. USD could take advantage of this...or should take adv. If the Bison can control the clock we win. If we have numerous 3 and outs, Coyotes win. The 07 Bison would "pound" the Coyotes but this Bison team is young and trying to find themselves. I give the edge to the Bison at the FFD. BISON: 28-17 Come on now, your using the young and trying to find yourselves excuse just in case you guys get beat? USD is just as young with many new starters on both sides. We are young this year. I have not looked at USD's roster and do not know who is a starter. I'm not using anything as an excuse; if we lose then USD was the better team that night.

Well, through three games, Yotes have scored 96 points. Scoring over 40 twice. The defense has allowed 90 points. I don't think we've seen the best out of either side of the ball. The more I think about this game, the more I think it could be a blowout win for the Yotes. This is really starting to feel like a big game, then I looked at the schedule and they are all big games. This is GREAT! I'm getting a woodie for FCS football. Yotes 55 Bison 21 LOL....you kidding me!!! Bison will not get blown-out by USD. Coyotes have never played too well in the FFD and our Defense is better than the Gophers D. If the Coyotes win, it will be less than 10 points. Our offense will find themselves sometime.....look-out if it is saturday. 55-21.....laughable!!!!

Banning Lakes will be the Yotes best play of the year!

Lakes was partially responsible for the implosion of our other board along with those other goons who just trolled over there to hate on Minnesota. I will add that was right on the eve of USD's biggest victory. I can't forget about that. IMO he shouldn't even be allowed an account here. He's been banned on pretty much every other site except Bisonville.
Go ahead and let him in. I predict 10 posts before he gets the ban hammer.
As for predictions, I see TSN agrees with me:
Yote 53: USD wins 27-20 TSN: Yotes win 28-20

I think USD's Defense is going to sneak up on NDSU today. In my opinion their aggressive play this year and consistent tackling have been as responsible for USD's results as the explosive offense. Expecting the USD Defense to cause some key turnovers and hand it over to the USD offense to capitalize.
The USD players and coaches know they are beatable - most importantly the NDSU players know they are beatable after a 3-8 season last year (only beating Wagner, a down Western Illinois team, and Indiana St.) and after getting handled by UNI two weeks ago (held to -40 yards rushing). I don't care that the score was close in that one - that is a physical beat-down to a team when you do not have positive rushing yards.
USD wins a close one: 27-24
NDSU fans provide at least 10 excuses for the loss.

bisoninnwmn notes USD has not played well in the Fargo. There's been enough of a break in the game series that history has no bearing on today's outcome. I predict USD in a close one.
I'm not stating a preference, just making a prediction. I'll be focused on the Jackrabbits from row 79 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. (sheesh, row 79 and that's 20 rows from the top)
Will check the USD V NDSU game score from time to time. Play like the team I watched in TCF two weekends ago and it'll be USD's day.

Wow! I have kinda forgotten how much pressure I'm under to make a prediction for this game. Considering my stellar record during the d2 days I need to come up with something good don't I?
USD 31 NDSU 17 We'll see.
Go South Dakota! Go Coyotes! Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

That 55-21 prediction was the most hilarious thing I've read all week. Nice work.
At any rate, it was a great game to be a part of and I think the two teams felt some rivalry venom going down. Great home crowd.
You guys will demolish UND. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Everything Kyro said.
Kudos and goodluck. Please for the love of god beat UND like 63-7 it would mean so much to me. I might even get your team a gift, like NDSU socks or something.

UND or not USD needs to play well next week to keep the momentum going. A win and the Yotes are off and running again. As far as on the sidelines, in practice, confidence etc a loss would be a major setback and make the Minnesota game seem like last year.

9 penalties. D gave up 348 rushing yards for an average of 8.3 yards per carry. I'm sure the average yards per rush calculation in the second half would be far worse.
These are the Yotes Achilles heel. I said before that the D makes me really uncomfortable. After last night, I may need to be medicated.

I had a great time visiting with a bunch of Yote fans yesterday. I loved it when we required them to yell Sioux Suck as they walked by and they were very willing to do so. Later they asked Bison fans to reply with Jacks Suck, we were also will to do so.
PLEASE DESTROY THE SIOUX. I know that your team is much better. Their QB is very slow and they don't have much depth. Your QB should get lots of yards.
SCALP THE SIOUX one more time before they change their name!

That is what makes the Dakota 4 such an attractive 4-some for any conference. The distain for the rival school is difficult to match at the FCS level. Maybe Montana vs Montana State could get ugly but the rivalries born many years ago in the Dakota's are something to behold. Whether it's hate, respect or liking both it's difficult not to have a strong opinion about either USD vs SDSU or UND vs NDSU.
I think it's great that the Bison fans were pretty riled up about the game. The players seemed to be as well. I think the Yotes brought out the best in the Bison and most in the Fargo Dome including the players felt USD could give them real trouble if the Green and Gold weren't at their very best. That is a sign of respect that NDSU was paying to the Yotes.
