Apparently this billboard was recently placed on I-29 very, very close to Brookings. One Stater has already pointed out "thanks" for promoting an SDSU home game, but this has to really irritate some in their camp. I like the attitude and aggressiveness from our marketing people!

In the words of Doctor House, "OH SNAP!"

In the words of Doctor House, "OH SNAP!" Where can I get a poster? I seriously think that is a GREAT idea for a fundraiser. Limited Edition prints of that poster. I would buy one RIGHT NOW if that were the case. Make them Limited Edition and numbered, commemorating the FIRST U vs State game as Division I rivals. Just my .02 RJ

I think that is awesome. The fact it has many of the SDSU faithful stirred up means that it worked.
Now there should be one of these put up in Sioux Falls on Minnesota Ave, or Louise, or along I-29.

For sure and maybe you could put up some more billboards to help promote basketball games at Frost Arena. We love when USD spends their $$$ to help SDSU sell tickets. Ha ha ha ha! We are laughing all the way to the bank.

State fans don't get it, not suprised. We're not advertising for your home game, we're sending a message. Some people in this state are under the faulty perception that SDSU is somehow greater than USD, even after some highly publicized big wins the likes that SDSU has not been able to duplicate. This billboard is sending the message that we are equals, we aren't backing down, in fact, we're coming right for ya.

A friend who has no allegiance to either school commented that the message was USD was still chasing SDSU ... a little like the old Avis slogan "We try harder" because it was always #2 in the car-rental business. I think the overwhelming number of SDSU fans who take any time to think about the billboard appreciate the jab given in a humorous way and are not in the least offended.

Your friend must have missed the football scores from this past weekend. Anyway, lets be friends and go to dinner.

Your friend must have missed the football scores from this past weekend. Anyway, lets be friends and go to dinner. Like I told the Fargo paper “No sense in winning the game if you’re going to lay an egg the rest of the season,” lets wait and see how the rest of the season goes before we brag too much. After all we beat Minnesota last year but finished 4-7. Not good

Good point, Coach M
If the Yotes can figure out how to hold on to leads, they could be in for a good season (past the Wisconsin game).
That USD vs. Southern Utah game could be the best Great West one all season.

South Dakota will continue to chase State as long as they keep running away.
