They made the plays. We didn't. They didn't play particularly well either on offense either and let us stay in the game. As soon as Leyland missed at the end of regulation it was over. All the momentum we had went out the window and we weren't coming back from that. I'm sick of losing to them. Even our best teams can't win.

Sorry for being an honest, realistic fan. We've been losing 9 out of 10 games to them for 30 years. For someone who is from the brookings area and gets to constantly hear about it, it gets really old.

Offensive coordinator should be drug behind the bus for that idiotic call on 3rd down taking the qb out. Biggest 3rd down play of the year and he shits it down his leg. 5 or 6 yds means a lot to a kicker and maybe get a 1st down.

Tough way to end it. But we showed we belong. Take the bye week to rest up and regroup. Gotta finish the season 3-0 and at minimum 2-1 against ISU blue and the North Dakota schools.

Should have won by 10+. Defense was phenomenal once they settled in. Offense could not help themselves from screwing up every opportunity. Honestly seems like we could have blown them out. Maddening to walk away with a loss.
