3rd and 5. Warren almost sacked but scrambles to the 35 yard line. 1st down. If USD continues to run, run pass it's gonna be a long day. Warren's legs are pretty much the only offense so far.

I just don't understand why USD's has such a weapon in Powell but yet they refuse to use him. I have noticed in past games in Vermillion that Powell is getting one on one coverage but the Yotes aren't taking advantage.

Powell catches down to the 11 yard line. First target of the game to Powell. Sims runs down to the 5 yard line. Sims is running very hard. For every carry he doesn't get is simply a wasted opportunity when it comes to running the football from the tailback position. Redbirds call timeout.

Robb gets a field goal after the Yotes decide it's time to run Ganious in the red zone. Sims is the better back and the more powerfull back, but hey why not use the second best option. Those decisions not to have the best players taking the important plays are what costs these types of games to be losses when they could easily be wins.

Roughing the passer on the Yotes. ISU fumbles at the USD 14 yard line. OMG a major break. 8 seconds left till half.
It's going to be 7-3 at half.
The Coyote offense has been in no other words putrid. USD's defense has really carried the team so far. Hate to say it but this offense is not moving the ball behind Warren. Maybe it's time to get Josh in the game and see what he can do.

Quit pushing the panic button. Replacing a two year starter at have when it is not just the QB play that is bad will do damage to the team's mental well being. It is a team game all of the players need to play well not just the QB or tailback.
Relax
