Relax I don't think so. This offense and the playcalling are killing this team right now. I have never been particulary impressed with Warren's passing ability. He is elusive but isn't USD supposed to have a good receiving core. I am not putting this all on Warren either because the play calling has been atrocious so far. How many times will we go run, run, pass and expect to fool anyone. Also why is Ganious and his dancing style of running doing carrying the ball in the red zone. Sims should have been carrying the load. If so it's probably 7-7 right now. The Yotes are extremely lucky this isn't a 21-0 game right now. The Redbirds are shooting themselves in the foot just as much as USD is playing well.

2nd half kick to come. The second half in road games scares me because when it comes to a game of adjustments I will almost always side that the opponent is going to adjust better on the fly.
Warren runs it to the 22 yard line. 2nd and 7.

Nowotny just had a 70 yard touchdown catch and run. Guess what chop block on USD it's all coming back.

Nowotny did most of that on his own. Ganious catches the ball and gets 3 yards. My god lets just send Sims into the locker room. This is ridiculous.

Warren runs to the 12 yard line. 3rd and 3. Incomplete pass. Punt coming. The defense can only be expected to do so much.

ISU to start at their own 48 yard line. I feel as if the defense cannot allow another touchdown the way things are going.

13 yard run to the 24, ouch. Need to firm up and keep this to a field goal attempt.

What is interesting about this offense right now. In the D2 days we had better quarterbacks, better runningbacks and a better offensive cordinator. The D has transitioned to D1, I am not so sure the offense has done the same.

ISU caught a 13 yard touchdown. Leaping catch and a nice job of holding onto the ball.
South Dakota 3 Illinois State 14
It's really going to be a challenge now.
