Not sure who the OL coach is, but heard he is like 6'8 and big. Hopefully he will be good. If that is the case, then it would at least lead you to believe he played OL. Not to beat on Coach Tripp, but...

Believe it or not but Tripp was a long snapper.

Jason Petrino will be new defensive coordinator per Mick Garry article on AL website.

Willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Glenn on this. Obviously, neither played Div I but coaching is different than playing.

A couple of good Nate Brown interviews with David Sayler & Joe Glenn by Nate Brown - sdsportsbuzz.com/index.php?goto=blog&b=1493 and sdsportsbuzz.com/index.php?goto=blog&b=1451 The same link with the interview with Joe Glenn also includes an interview with the Wyoming play by play man with the primary topic being Joe's days as a Cowboy. Nate does a great job & during the past season had several good interviews with Ed Meierkort.

Thanks for posting the interview. Glenn acknowledges that recruiting is the key so look forward to his results.

Will the younger breske brother being staying on the staff? He was a GA and coached running backs? Has his GA ran out?

He was a GA and coached running backs? Has his GA ran out? As I was informed earlier, he is not related to Adam or Adam's dad, Mike. Also, my understanding is that he will not be a GA again. At the signing day party on Thursday at Callaway's in Sioux Falls, Glenn introduced 3 GAs, if I recall. One was Brooks Little, another was Nick Benedetto, and the last is not a person I was familiar with. He is also not on the coaches' website yet. My recollection was that he was a DL assistant - but I could be wrong. When you looked at the staff as a group, you can't help but think "this actually looks like a normal coaching staff." There is diversity, in race, origin, age, size, personality, etc. By way of example, we probably have the first OL coach in my recollection, that actually looks like he played OL. On top of that, Brett Harvey is a SUPER nice guy. My friends and I talked to him for over an hour and he couldn't have been more pleasant. In addition, Coach Glenn was taking the time to talk to everybody - and not just for a quick handshake - literally having full drawn out conversations with everybody. An interesting story that Brett told was about one of the GAs (can't remember which - maybe Nick?) driving to Chicago with Glenn to recruit. The GA told the rest of the staff that he learned more football knowledge from Glenn on the car ride than he had picked up in his entire life. He said he had never met anybody that was so knowledgeable about the game! I cannot wait to see what this staff does with a full year of recruiting. It will be impressive, to say the least.

I'm pretty sure it was Nick Bennedetto... who Coach Glenn also said was related to Tony Bennedetto aka Tony Bennett.
