You used a system that had Stephen f. Austin as the 8th best team in the nation and Colorado 3rd....and you wonder why I question your info.....

Sd4ever is the only one that truly knows me on this whole board. He and I talk and we know each other fairly well. He knows my passion and I know he has passion as well. He is the one that actually convinced me to come back to this board. I know sd4ever's guts are torn out about this season. He would have told you that without a doubt that Joe Glenn would have had this football team playing better than they are. I thought things would have been better this year as well.

I will stop the Iowa vs Iowa State argument for now but it is fun to talk about it. We will have to keep a keen eye on that rivalry that is Iowa State vs Iowa.
One more thing CF#2 my knowledge of the Summit League kind of sucked in the pool. I got both Coyote games wrong this weekend and picked WIU to lose twice and they won twice although both were close. I will take the heat for really missing on the Summit games this week. I will have to try to do better next time.

Hey, the rpi is so great, Colorado is the third best team in the nation! And Stephen f. Austin is 8th lol. Colorado is unbeaten but has played nobody good except maybe Balor. And they didnt beat those nobodies by very far either. I think the sagarin rating is better than the rpi. sagarin.com/sports/cbsend.htmand it has iowa st higher than iowa.

I'm sure a lot of folks have commented on this over the years, but what a strange name for an institution of higher learning. Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis if I've got it right. Even the acronym IUPUI does not lend itself to any easy pronounciation. Not to denigrate this fine university but I wonder why something more simple like IPU (Indiana Purdue University) wasn't better. I can understand why UPI wasn't used (symbolizes United Press International).
Must be a story behind this. My guess is a committee was involved somewhere along the line.

Awesome to see the Men and Women's BB teams step forward last night. Finally some wins! They both looked good and enjoyed how aggressive both squads played. The Men are going to have to be scrappy and use their quickness against the top Summit teams that have some big dudes controlling the paint.

Here's a link to the Wikipedia article on Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IUPUIThe school is a cooperative effort of IU and Purdue, administered primarily by IU, to bring top educational opportunities to Indianpolis. The name makes sense. The school has more than 22,000 undergrads and more than 8200 grad students (not sure whether the method for counting is the same as used in South Dakota but it's a large school by any measure). It has several programs/schools that are considered some of the best in the country.
