Here's what happened to Wolters: About two-thirds of the way through the first half, Nate drove to the basket and Murray State's Ed Daniels got under him (not saying it was dirty...just a hard foul) and Nate came down hard on his hip and back. He was wincing as he got up slowly and from that point, it was obvious he was having some pain. One of the announcers noted that halftime would not be good for Nate because he'll stiffen up. I think that showed in the second half. I haven't heard a thing about how he's been doing since the game. Thanks for the insight, JackJD. Wolters has proven himself an elite talent in all of college basketball, and Braun and Parks are certainly elite talents within the context of the league. From a quality standpoint, the league would badly miss all three in Sioux Falls. Braun is cleared to practice; it's now a question of how his foot and conditioning will hold up in game conditions. If Wolters injury proves to be only minor, he'll have the luxury of eight days off after Thursday's Omaha game, though I'm not sure the Jacks can afford to sit him out entirely if they intend to win the league championship and secure the 1 seed (which is huge this year given IUPUI's poor play). Some of the comments from WIU's coach regarding Parks could be read to imply a serious injury. The loss of Parks, in my opinion, would severely diminish WIU's chances of success at the SLT.

Yeah, I was watching it too, and to call it a hard foul is kind of bias. It was actually a borderline charge on Wolters' part, so the Murray State guy just slid in like he has been taught since middle school and Wolters bowled him over. So, no, not a hard foul on how Wolters got injured since the call could've gone either way.

Not really. The kid slid over in plenty of time and Wolters could've easily gone around him. Looked like the call could've gone either way since it was right on the line, but that's what caused Wolters injury. He kind of did it to himself. Great player, but to say hard foul, all the other kid did was slide in and Wolters could've changed directions but wanted to go through him.

Wolters is irrelevant to the Coyote board so who cares one way or another.
