Does anyone know if it's the dual meet this Saturday or the conference meet that counts in track?

After the Softball victory against the Jacks, we now lead in the Showdown Series 9-7. Interesting breakdown so far of men's vs women's sports: Our men's teams are 1-6 in points against the Jacks. Our women's teams are 8-1 in points against the Jacks. only 5 more sports for points left: M/W golf, M/W Track and Field, W Tennis (plus 3 points for academics) PS - I still stand by my earlier statement that nobody really follows the showdown series much, but it IS worth noting the domination of our women's teams. Good job, ladies! I agree no one really follows it. Hopefully someday it will have a better following.
It's at least an apples to apples comparison unlike the Summit league commissioners cup which is a joke when some schools have 2, 3, or 4 more sports than the other schools participating. If they changed the commissioners cup to averaging your conference standing in all sports it would be better.

And, in the same spirit, we should factor in baseball, wrestling, and equestrian. Diversity should be rewarded.

USD is still ahead, now 10-7 with women's tennis adding a point a couple of weeks ago. Our women's teams are 9-1 vs the Jacks! Soon the golf points will be awarded. sdcornshowdown.com/

After a men's/women's split at outdoor track and assuming both teams get their 3 academic points, USD WINS THE SHOWDOWN SERIES! sdcornshowdown.com/

This is equally accurate to saying the coyote's have won two of the five years that the contest has been in existence. But since this ls the coyote spin zone why not add that the coyote's finished in second place the other three years, a span of five years where the Jackrabbits finished in last place twice and were able to do no better than next to last the other three years. Congratulations for winning the cup this year. Have a great summer.

Congratulations for winning the cup this year. Have a great summer. How can this rub you the wrong way? It's incredibly common for writers, broadcasters, fans, and whoever to pick out stats that make one side sound good/bad. When we win again next year is it going to offend you to say we have won 3 out of the past 4? You should probably update your signature.
