Easy now. I agree it's an improvement, but we aren't shutting anyone out this year.

Improvement yes, confidence - I'm not sure. There are a lot of young players listed and the injury bug has hit as well. Trevor Bouma for man of the year for doing all these things!

After more than 2 decades of listening to that song during Coyote games I still get goose bumps everytime I hear it. I think USD has one of the better school songs out there but I guess I am just a little bit biased ;-)

Defense and a running game- good combination to win some ball games. Nothing fancy about those Bruise Brothers, is there? Straight ahead, take what's there, and they did a fine job of it! Hats off to the O line today- great improvement over last year. With a tough schedule and 3 upcoming road games, this is the way to start the season. GO YOTES!

Agreed, no one will mistake either 21 or 23 for Stegan Logan but you know what? That's fine! For their first games those kids did a great job of advancing the ball & holding on to the ball. Good old fashioned north and south running. Next up... the passing game...

I was at the game, and I am impressed with the defense, the offensive running game, and the idea that we don't turn the ball over. If this keeps going strong we will win games.

DANG! Three min and fifty seconds away from being the smartest guy on the internet!
Wasn't always pretty, but from a one game sample, this group appears to be more disciplined.
Good effort from everybody, but it's going to take a better effort when we get into the MVFC.

This game should a confidence booster for those younger guys.

Had that official not called the worst pass interference call I've seen in quite some time, you would've nailed it. Good call.
