I've got the Alliance Triple Play super package or whatever and that doesn't seem to have ESPN 3. Bahhh!
FYI the line moved from 23 to 28.5 in 5 hours on one of the books this morning. That is a HUGE move. There must be a ton of money coming in on the Hawks.

As a KU Alum, this will be the first time I have attended a KU sporting event wearing the opponents gear. Hoping for the upset. I can post score updates if anyone wants during the game.

Interesting matchup. If USD was even a middle of the road MVFC team I would think they would have a good chance to win. KU isn't a great team but USD isn't either so whichever team can cover up the most weaknesses gets the W. Will USD's offensive line be able to create some holes like they did against UC-Davis? It will be important for the offense to try to keep the ball and avoid a lot of 3 and outs. I like the straight ahead run game to have moderate success but not enough to put up a lot of points. Will Kansas put 8 or more in the box to make USD beat them through the air. I would if I was Kansas. Overall I don't think USD will have much success moving the ball much today. I do think USD can stop Kansas to the point where they will stay in the game for awhile.
In the end I see a 24-7 Kansas win. USD hasn't won for 10 straight on the road. Last road win was at Minnesota which certainly doesn't bode well for today.

Who is the clown on the mic for the ESPN3 feed? Annoying as all he11. It's bad when you can tell he's rooting for Kansas. Yotes looking ok. I'm liking the power running and inverted veer. Good stuff.

Im am not impressed with the punting. Yotes are moving the ball ok. Need a score soon to make it a game again.

The Mick Garry chat said we bounced another snap on one of the punts. We're going on 2 years now of this punting debacle. We've got to at least do the simple things reasonably well at this point!

Saw some great things tonight at the game. Moved the ball with the pistol veer plays. Bouma and Roberts are as advertised - hard runners with good vision. OL showed improvement against a formidable front. Defense played their asses off and finally ran out of gas at the end. Huge improvements since last year IMO. JVM is running the offense very well. He is making good decisions. Has accuracy and touch problems at times. The drops by the WR were drive killers.
The teams dark cloud is special teams - specifically punt and kick coverage. The punter does not have a chance when the ball rolls back to him. When you punt and the other team returns the ball back to the original Line of scrimmage multiple times in a game - that is glaring.
Hope the special teams coach finds another long snapper. Right now Bouma is being asked to do this and it is not working. He is already our #1 running back and kick returner. Someone else on the team has to be able to get it done!
Get healed up and go get Northern Arizona in two weeks.
