The coaching staff really seems to be hitting Colorado hard this year.

Aaron Kurth, a big lineman from Colby, Kansas, still isn't on the commits list, but his twitter account has him as a future Coyote. Maybe someone can embed the tweet.

State wound up losing 4 out of 6 to end the season. Talk about limping into the offseason. The playoff committee was kind enough to route them away from Fargo via a woefully undeserved 7 seed, and after a bye they get a rematch at home with a UNI team that they clobbered 38-7 a few weeks ago. More luck was on their side as the weather forecast was about the best you could ever hope for in December. Then, in the face of all this luck, they completed the implosion. About 2500 fans showed up, including a strong pack of visiting UNI fans. They scored 3 points in the last 57 minutes of the game. Fans are making excuses that their injured QB and RB are to blame when these exact same backups blew out UNI a few weeks ago (also ignoring that Heide put up better stats than Gibbs on the year anyways). That's some healthy momentum heading into the offseason. It's safe to say that this program has no real home field advantage in the playoffs. They really screwed the pooch when they decided to build an outdoor stadium and an indoor practice facility. They spent all of the money needed for an indoor stadium but opted to chase that unique advantage of hosting teams in the bitter SD cold instead. Now they get to play in front of zero fans late in the season and often get outplayed in their "hostile environment" anyways. Good for them. I don't know why you're being so hard on the bunnies. After all, they were the only team in the playoffs who had any injuries.

What is the status of Simpson ? Tweaked his knee. Could actually play right now but they're just being cautious with it. That's what I was told anyway.

Coppin State was, um, not very good. I don't understand why they had to travel all the way from the East Coast to the hinterlands to have their asses handed to them twice. I would think there are probably plenty of teams within a bus trip from their home base to play, and maybe even be competitive with.

This certainly isn't the place for a parent to vent.

Here's another one. Picture it with a Bluejay, Jackrabbit, Bulldog and Coyote (in that order) the "Town Musicians of Breman" statue in Bremen, Germany Where on Earth do you dig this stuff up? And don't say Bremen, Germany.

Poor shooting from everywhere really did us in against the Huskies as we were bad from the line and simply horrible from behind the arc. Despite that, managed to be only down four with about five minutes to play, but then UW owned those last five minutes. This was without Simpson and with Hags really struggling. Hope he got that out of his system and that Tristen comes back soon. Been a tough road trip on those guys. I imagine they'll be happy to get back home.

What the committee is stating that you can play in a tough conference and lose nearly half your games and that is better than winning 27 of 29 and beating a team in that same conference and it means nothing. If the schedule was much more difficult and we happen to lose a few games they exclude us because of our record. I don't have to like it, it is the way it is. Time for the NIVC Tournament, Go YOTES!!! Life as a mid major...you have to be twice as good to get half the recognition, if that.

Agree on Chisolm. He's definitely a player. I would think he'll start to see more and more playing time.

No matter who or what transpired, this was a loss to a team we should have handled. The last three halves have been poor and I sure hope this doesn't mean we'll struggle on the road this season. After the play in Hawaii, I wouldn't have thought this would be a problem. Obviously, plenty of season left though.

With the way we're shooting you'd have to think that maybe NIU would come out of that zone after awhile.

There is a current ESPN article about how Notre Dame WBB is trending to miss the NCAA tournament. They appear to be currently struggling, but still a solid win for SDSU. The goal is always to win the next game on the schedule. Now time to go 1-0 against Northern Illinois tomorrow. Go get them Yotes!! Sometimes it seems to me that for a Power 5 team to make the NCAAs all they have to do is go .500 in conference and win a conference tourney game. Completely different mindset from that of us peons.

Maybe we can find a good public university in Ohio to schedule instead of just some random Ohio State University.
