Road Warriors, 6 of last 9 at home, anyone counting on the Yotes fading, had better reconsider!

Not thrilled with the Argus, but I don't have a problem with Mick. In fact, I enjoy his work.

Fight SOUTH DAKOTA !! I don't get to see a lot of SD high school football these days, but with his height and ball skills, looks like he could be a challenge for opposing CBs, ( if he stays at WR).

Summit League mens is going to be a battle, regular season and tourney, looks to be wide open. How many wins do you think regular season champs will have?

It was a pretty a good State week, for the good guys (gals) 3 out of 4! Thought we had a good chance for the sweep, but we'll get the men later this year at least once!
Lot to be excited about Yotes fans, and a new arena coming soon!

I'm really not arguing that call, shouldn't came down to that. The summit player of the year had 0 assists. Wow. Happy New Year

Yes, ctc2010, I was referring to the commentator from the Denver game. You would think, with at least a small amount of preparation, the commentator could identify the opponents' contributing performers. Now he can just look it up on thesummitleague.org!

USD's Tyler Larson named Summit League athlete of the month for December. Congrats to Tyler. I guess that makes "him good enough to talk smack"... Congrats to Tyler, well-deserved, and a real model for fighting through adversity to achieve success!

I didn't see the game from the opening tip, however, I saw the contest as very well played by both sides (on the Defensive side, which is the side that matters most). Yes, there were TOs and missed shots, but they weren't uncontested, for the most part.
I didn't hear the Coaches post game comments, did they view it as poorly played?

Seeing how this is gerry1980's first post, I'm thinking this is spam. This should probably be in a folder entitled "Way Off Topic Stuff." With that said, I'll be cheering for Uzbekistan to pull this thing out. Maybe we could put it in a folder entitled "Really Boring Sports" so we could add the hockey and equestrian threads to it? Hockey? Playoff hockey is the most exciting of all playoff sports, IMHO. It's a cold weather sport for the most part and it's not the easiest to follow on TV, so it's obviously not the most popular, but it is anything but Really Boring.

We have our change to the basketball program and last night is an indication of how far a program can come in a fairly short time period. I believe the right coaching staff with the right assistants can produce a dramatic turnaround in year #1 but for sure in year #2. I was just as excited about the U's performance vs. Creighton an anyone, but lets not blow this out of proportion. We still lost....and we are 3-7....and we have lost at home to Youngstown St., and to Wofford, Sam Houston St., Fairfield, and Utah Valley...not exactly basketball powerhouses. I agree that I think Coach Smith was a good hire and has breathed some new life into the MBB program. But lets not crown him king yet because he almost beat Creighton, who by the way is picked to finish 9th in the Big East this year. I agree that Joe is absolutely the best option at this time. Until we commit to match the financial support that our competitors give their football programs, it doesn't matter who is the head coach. Agree with keeping in context the Mens BB program and current progress, it will take time like FB. Don't agree with shrugging off Wofford, and even Sam Houston State as solid BB teams this year.
