You know you can watch the game without having a thread conversation with yourself.... right? Coyotes Live via GoYotes.com and Chromecast are a great combination for watching games that I am not able to attend and are not broadcast by MidcoSN. Unlike many schools, all basketball games are available at no charge. Audio for all road games, along with the Monday coaches show are also streamed live. Also all of the above, along with Midco's Coyotes Corner, are archived and available for watching on demand. A big thank you to the Coyotes athletic department for making all this available.

From the games I have seen, Macy is a fantastic player and the only criticism I have of her on the basketball court is the color of her uniform. I have also heard nothing but good about her off the court. High character, hard working and humble.

What a fun day! I'm not sure what was the best moment of the day: watching the State fans file out early; watching two grown Sdsu men cry and bitch like little babies; watching Tia's little sister give the dipstick behind her a taste of his own medicine; watching Nicole show again and again she is the best player in the Summit; watching my five year old stick his tongue out at the Jack mascot when he came close to us, and watching him dance in front of State fans singing "we beat the Jacks dad!"; watching the old guy in front of me yell at AJ for what he thought was bad coaching decisions; or watching Nicole swish yet another game winning shot? I smiled at all of them It's a great day to be a Coyote! Every day is a great day to be a Coyote, but today was even better. SDSU fans misbehaving, that is ,as they say, #theSTATEway

Great game and great atmosphere. Nicole Seekamp is a special talent
Overall a good job by Midco. Both USD & SDSU are fortunate to get great coverage of women's hoops. Doesn't happen many places.

Play two halves and this is a win. Regular season is looking pretty well shot, hope we can learn to put it all together in Sioux Falls when it matters most. I hate to be the one to point it out, but only 8 teams will qualify for the SL Tournament out of the 9 teams in the league this year. Right now we're 8th at 1-4, just ahead of WIU at 0-3, who will host Denver (1-3) tomorrow. If we don't start winning some of these games we could risk not even making it to Sioux Falls. There is still a lot of season left, but next Wednesday's game against the Leathernecks a is very close to being a must win. We have a week off until that game and the week off is definitely coming at a good time.

Per Jay Elsen we are receiving $500,000 buyout from Cal and $375,000 from New Mexico.
As they say in farming, a South Dakota double crop

As far as Jacks fans go, JackJD appears to be OK, but at the end of the day he is still a Jacks fan and therefore #FEEBLuE

This is per a poster on the SDSU board, who I believe is a high school coach in NW Iowa
"Nothing at all to do with academics, so those that started this rumor you might want to stop it before that gets on social media. He's always felt he was an FBS player. And now with the cleaning house at Vermillion he thought this was the time to try it. He lost his position coach and I think that was the last straw. Andrew is a great kid and we would be proud of him if he wore Jack blue. Who knows what will happen at Iowa Western. He will certainly get FBS offers, but maybe SDSU has another shot at him. I know that Iowa has been a place he's wanted to attend, but I have not talked to him directly the past couple months. The rumor of him leaving for Iowa Western is true, but it is not for academic, law breaking or behavior. I wish him the best at Iowa Western and understand his decision especially after the coaching changes."

Do we really heave to go down the route of explaining why one paycheck game against a power conference school is the most reasonable way to go? Of course budget it important and that is why maybe the Yotes should play 3 FBS games a year instead of just one. Imagine the money that the program would receive for that. Of course they wouldn't be making the playoffs but that hasn't really been an option for USD football anyway so nothing lost but alot to be gained. Could you imagine the die hards and how happy they would be if they could see the Yotes play at California, at Nebraska and at Texas in the same year. That would be awesome. How much could be gained from that. Maybe a million or a million and a half. Why do you keep doing this?

A website shows New Mexico plays Sam Houston State that day, are we sure it isn't New Mexico State they are open that day? Just checking Could be playing New Mexico on Sept 24 as both the Yotes and Lobos are open on that date.

anyone know the size of the current board in the dome? Just trying to picture how much bigger the new one is. Is there any plan to move the old board to the south end of the dome above the new club area? From the info I could find, the current video board is 17' x 29' plus the scoreboards on each side. The new video board will be 17' x 56.5' and the scoreboard information will be displayed as part of the video board.
