Northridge misses and it is out of bounds to the Coyotes but they are going to look at the reply. After the review the Yotes still get it up 1 with 69 seconds left. Casey misses a three, Northridge misses and the Yotes save it from out of bounds. Norris is fouled and will shoot 2 this time.
first good second good
Yotes by 3. 21.5 seconds to go.

Northridge gets a long 3. McLelland fould with 7 seconds to go. Need both free throws
first good second for the game and it is GOOD
missed three with 1.2 seconds left but it shouldn't matter.
COYOTES WIN COYOTES WIN COYOTES WIN

Good character win for the Coyotes today. They gutted out this win against 5 Matadors and 3 refs. This was a bumpy ride this weekend but the black cloud finally lifted and the Yotes took home something positive from the weekend. I think the team grew up quite a bit and should learn alot from these three games. In the clutch the Coyotes persevered.

Kaboom don't worry about carrying on too much about the bad calls. You were simply reporting it like it happened. If it's a crock you gotta report it like a crock. The important thing is that the Coyotes fought through the bulls**t to get the win. Sounds like more Coyotes as a whole played better man for man.

This one started to slip away but our guys powered through, made some clutch shots, and found their first win of the season. This is a team in progress, no doubt about it. It's great to see a team trying to find its way dig out a hard fought victory.
Onward to Friday's game against Kansas State!

Northridge is apparently now calling themselves the Sea Suns or something like that. Still the Matadors. Commentator is calling them C-SUN for short (Cal State University Northridge). Team did well enough without Burnette for most of the first half. Time to put a full 40 minute performance together and win one. A bad day as a Coyote is ALWAYS better than a good day as a Jack. That's what they call themselves. Their media guide explained they call themselves CSUN. They specifically asked to not call them Cal State Northridge, not Northridge, etc. I had a really hard time calling them CSUN. Sounds very strange to me, but I just have to call is as such. Fun game to watch and do. Team REALLY grew up from game 1 to game 3. Get your tickets for BOTH hoops teams. You'll like watching these teams play. Rod (RJ)

Hate State and all that, but why bother bringing them up out of nowhere? Bugs me to no end.

Hate State and all that, but why bother bringing them up out of nowhere? Bugs me to no end. I don't know why it is doing that. I have that written in small letters as my "signature" at the bottom, but I have no idea why it's being put into my post. I actually deleted that on this post before I starting typing. Can anyone help me with this. Sorry.

Thank you for coming by and giving us a bit more insight into what happened in Illinois this weekend. I listened to your call on Friday and today finding your delivery to be exciting while giving me a good idea of the details I miss by not being in person. Had a couple chuckles as well. Your comment about wanting to join the Yote fans in ragging on the refs but having more important things to say was especially comical to me. Really sounded like the refs were in over their heads today.
