Men's Scores today
USD 76 at NDSU 66
Fort Wayne 19 at Denver 28 first half - my gut tells me it's better off for the Yotes if Denver wins because they have a tougher remaining schedule. Fort Wayne with a win tonight I could see them making a big run at this thing before it is all over. Their tough games remaining are mostly at home. If Denver wins the Coyotes will have wins at the top 2 teams in the conference on their home courts.
Oral Roberts 35 at SDSU 23 just into the second half. If ORU wins this game SDSU is very much in the conversation of still not making Sioux Falls because they still have to play at 3 of the top 4 teams in the conference.
Omaha at Western Illinois - tonight

ORU beat IUPUI today, so the bottom of the conference is a total mess with only 3 or 4 games to go. No only it is impossible to think seeding for the tourney (and who the Yotes would play), it is still hard to figure out who is staying home. IUPUI, WIU, SDSU, & ORU are all somewhere between 5-7 to 4-9. If ORU can get its 5th win, then, well, you got me.

WIU getting blown out by Denver tonight. It is looking safe to say that with 3 games remaining we will hold a 1 game lead over Denver for the 2 seed, while holding the tiebreaker. Magic number for a day off in Sioux Falls is 2.

Denver wins it 78-72 but Western Illinois came back from a 22 point deficit at half and cut it to 1 with a chance to take the lead. Western did not execute very well when they had their chance to take the game.

Denver staying in 3rd place may be the best thing for the Yotes.
I'm hoping NDSU loses tonight at Fort Wayne. If so I believe we own the tie breaker with NDSU per our season split with the Bison and USD winning both games against Denver and NDSU splitting with Denver.
Denver staying at 3 may be our only shot at the #1 seed.

If IPFW finished 3rd, with a win over NDSU (they probably aren't climbing to 3rd without that), we would hold the tiebreaker over NDSU as we swept IPFW. It's nearly guaranteed we hold the tiebreaker over NDSU.

IUPUI has the Jacks down at Frost 26-19 at the under 4:00 timeout. The Yotes better watch some film on what the Jags are doing. This is the exact reason why the Jacks are just not on the Yotes level. They played way above their ski's in Vermillion.

Fort Wayne is one of the Coyotes best friends. After the Yotes beat them they took out Omaha to help us and now they are about to take out NDSU to help us.
