Those locker rooms aren't that nice either.

Those locker rooms aren't that nice either. True, but significantly better than the visiting team. Jim Harbaugh brought this up as an issue in the Big Ten earlier this year, and called for a minimum standards for visiting team facilities in that conference. He mentioned the inability for his injured players to receive adequate medical attention at the stadium. I think that is a very good point for the NCAA. Minimum standards for team facilities should be in place for awarding playoff games. Kind of a no-brainer when you think about it.

A half mile walk and a tent in absolutely unacceptable. I cannot believe I just read the conditions that the Coyotes were under. That is what a local park rec flag football team might have to do but a D1 FCS playoff game. Get real. Nichols deserves every fate they got in the loss just for principle reasons alone. The Coyotes had what a 5 minute half time where Nichols had a much better chance to regroup and get ready for the second half. I am so happy the Coyotes won considering the crap they had to go through. Even without renovations it makes one appreciate the dome as it is.

Thats bad.
But another factor as to why it's hard to play on the road especially in the playoffs.

If it had been SDSU, they would have waited until after the post-season was over...

I gotta say Jared Farley's one handed TD was impressive, he is a LB for UNI

So how many got USD's path in the playoffs correct and how many had SDSU to at least the semi's.
If SDSU beats New Hampshire and loses to James Madison and NDSU wins it all I would get through this thing with only one loss having been wrong with WIU beating Weber State. Where are Yoteforever and Cousin's Eddie's picks. Oh yeah they don't exist because they are all talk and no substance.

Lee Corso must be his idol because he always makes a pick.

Lee Corso must be his idol because he always makes a pick. I do like to make picks because it is fun and why not. I would rather have someone make a pick and never get one right than for someone to talk but never make picks or back up their argument with facts. Isn't a board supposed to be about differing and new opinions. Yotes maybe you could learn a thing or two about opening up your mind and considering everything instead of just one's own biased opinion. I like diversity and it's very obvious than many others don't. I always have an open mind and always consider all sides of an argument. Because of that I tend to have a bit more knowledge about things then a person that has a tunnel visioned and one tracked mind. I thought the Coyotes were supposed to make the semi-finals according to many. I guess that teams from other conferences also know how to play some pretty good football. The Valley is good but it is not the only place that good football is played. I could see from miles away that the Coyotes were not going to win the game. It is sad that they didn't but many people remained shocked that the Coyotes don't play well on the road despite that having been proven over and over especially as of late. The loss to UNI was the point that the Coyotes were no longer considered elite. Even after that game and the Illinois State game most thought the Coyotes would still win at NDSU. There was really no basis for thinking that but most picked the Coyotes anyway because of homer bias. Same thing with the game at Sam Houston. The biggest problems with the team right now are that they simply can't stop anyone on defense especially in the critical moments, they can't hold onto a lead and most of all they are not very good in the 4th quarter and especially not very good when the game is on the line. Once USD cut it to 2 points Sam Houston controlled the rest of the game fairly easily. The Coyotes even with all the momentum that they had still could not control the game when it mattered most. When Sam Houston knew their backs were against the wall they won the game. Usually in similar situations the Coyotes do not come through when it matters most. Examples Illinois State, UNI, SDSU and Sam Houston. even in some of their wins this year that Yotes were holding on for dear life to not blow a game. Western Illinois and Nichols are good examples. If Nichols punches is in at the end of the game they probably win it in OT. These critical moments are the difference between the Coyotes being 9-2 and 7-4. They outgained two opponents by 200 yards each and were still not opportunistic enough to pull out those games. SDSU and UNI were crucial games that the Coyotes let slip away. If they don't they may still be playing today and playing in Vermillion. That is why maybe I am not in a very good mood when it comes to the team. They had their destiny in their hands and just let it slip away. They have done that for 2 years in a row now. UND and WIU were very crucial losses last year that cost the Coyotes potentially making the playoffs or at least having been in the discussion. How the team plays in critical situations is one thing that Neilson really needs to look at in the off season if the Coyotes are to improve as a team. You just never know if this year will be the best chance in a decade or more for the team to make some real noise but I consider this year a big missed opportunity. Streveler's don't come along all that often.

Final 4, right on the money. Not feeling super confident with JMU making the finals
