While I appreciate a lot of what you post on this board, if I want to read about how wonderful NDSU is I can go over to their board. The way Minnesota was playing at the end of the year they would have handled your beloved Bison although there is always the chance for an upset. I know, I know, you should probably be one of the four team chosen for the national playoffs and you'd most likely beat Alabama. NDSU would have beaten the Gophers every year during this run, including this year. NDSU will beat Oregon in '20.

You are starting to sound like a bunny fan. A little humility goes a long way. Why don't you just skip the FBS level and join the NFL?

NDSU has consistently proved they can beat FBS teams. Saying NDSU will beat Oregon is not far fetched. Oregon traditionally has trouble against Stanford....a team that runs a similar offensive scheme like NDSU. I'm sure everyone on here thought NDSU wouldn't compete with a #11 Iowa team a few years ago. Humility? It is football talk and saying NDSU would beat the Gophers is an opinion...we all have them.

The locals took notice. From the StarTribune: This is probably why people think it’s free: The $600,000 is attendance based but with 25,000 sold, all the prime expensive seats it’s already in the money in a big way. Apparently there has been over a mill in sponsorships sold too. I think this is a great strategy for NDSU. Personally I also think it will be a success in many ways. USD needs to use NDSU's aggressiveness and success to motivate and to be better every day. Its either do that or roll over and die. We are not spending all this money to do anything other than fight to rise up.

As a small-scale example, the successful turnout at the Pentagon this year for the Women’s BB game was a huge improvement over previous year’s showings there. I don’t know all the details of how that happened, but to me it was obvious the administration didn’t give up on doing a Sioux Falls showcase “the right way” because The SF fan base is really critical to the success of all the athletic department endeavors. Cracking the code of the sometimes-lazy SF alumni is worth the effort, IMHO. Next up: the SLT.

You can't talk FCS football or MVCF without talking about the Bison.
You may remember I didn't bring this up. It was asked why the Bison would even bother to schedule a game in Minneapolis. Its pretty obvious once you think about it.
I guess, the best thing is for USD and other schools to ignore the potential of an araingment like that. Probably nothing there for them, better to resent the Bison and anyone that notices just exactly how good and how smart they are.
I don't think the Gopers can beat the Bison. Sagarin and Massey don't either. It would be a great game. That's why I'm looking forward to SDSU @ Minnesota next year. A great game for the Jacks and the MVFC.
Of course if you hate the Jacks it isn't a great game. It's something a you may not want to read about even though a victory in Minnesota will help every Valley team that plays the Jacks next year.
Truth be know they are not my beloved Bison. I don't support them financially or attend their games unless they are playing a team I like, say Iowa.
I don't support any university and never will. They system is corrupt and no longer serves its purpose. There are better ways.
I like FCS football because I grew up in the midwest. I used to like D2 but we all grew up a bit. Now Augie wants to grow a little too.

So what's your take on USD playing Oklahoma next season? Do you think your beloved Bison would knock them off too?

I think the difference with the pentagon this year was they included that game as part of season tickets package. So it wasn’t another ticket to buy.

On top of that, you frequently pile on UND for absolutely no reason. If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck... I'd love to hear your theory on why universities no longer serve their intended purpose. Seems pretty hypocritical to say you don't support any university while constantly being a mouthpiece for them.

Speaking of the Ducks NDSU is a slight favorite this morning.

The OK game will be good for the MVFC too, for the same reasons. Beat them and it will be great. I’m not as excited about it as the KSU game this year though. The Wildcats should have gone down.
When the GAM stops running I will have the probable results of that game as it may have unfolded this season
UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH DAKOTA @ University of OK PREDICTED WINNER: SPREAD: O/U: MYTHICAL SCORE:
Ill check it after breakfast for results.

Not looking at any schedules I had no idea this game was on the slate. The Sooners will be in the Orange Bowl against Alabama and I think are Big 12 champions this year. This is one of the best teams any of the Dakotas have ever had a shot at. This game will elevate all MVFC teams that get to play USD. Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, OK. If the Yotes can play the game like that it will be a good game. Any better and it will be a great game. Some interesting points: - USD gets 125 yds on the ground. Sooners allow 176
- USD gets 286 in the air. Sooners allow 291

Those KState people are morons. Hope he doesn't go there; he doesn't deserve that kind of grief plus probably having Snyder peaking over his shoulder. He has earned the right to that type of paycheck though.
