Massey Ratings has us in another close game, and pegs us to lose at home 70-71. I like our odds in a close one at the Den! The crowd would be a major factor. If we can pull 3,072 in a Sweet-sixteen game on a weeknight, I think we will do one K better in an elite-8 game on a Sunday.

Oh Yeah. This time I'm waiting until 5 when the season ticket-holders are done with first-option. Maybe a bad strategy, but we will see. Like many have said, there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
Edit: I just looked at the seat map. It looks similar to when we played the Jacks in terms of early sales. That was a 5,000+ game. Maybe my waiting strategy isn't the best one.....
If we DO get 5K and Indiana gets less than that, we might just solidify a permanent home-court advantage. Now THAT would be something! 2016 all over again...

I have been eyeing the ticket purchasing site and the entire middle sections and the lower corner seats are all sold out except a few isolated single seats. If more seats become available from non attending season ticket holders I imagine they will go quickly. This is awfully early for this much of the arena to be sold out. I would think 4,000 is looking like a minimum attendance with 5K being realistic and a sellout a legitimate long shot now. Sunday evening is gonna be crazy.

I saw on Twitter that they extended the deadline for season-ticket holders until tomorrow at noon.

Also, there is no rule about playing at least on road gme in WNIT according to John Thayer.

Also, there is no rule about playing at least on road gme in WNIT according to John Thayer. That rule wouldn't make sense for a couple reasons. If every home team won it wouldn't even be possible to enforce, and if teams with a higher bid were forced to go on the road it would mean forfeiting revenue. If we advance to the Final Four our biggest competition for hosting is Indiana. It looks like they draw less than MSU from the little I've seen, so it's possible we'd get them to Vermillion anyways, but I'd like our chances with Kansas State or UC Davis a bit more. Gotta win first!

Also, there is no rule about playing at least on road gme in WNIT according to John Thayer. I have never heard of that rule either until some one brought it up this year. This whole tournament could come down to who gets home court between Indiana and South Dakota unless one gets upset on home court and I don't care what anyone says because a TCU win is a slight upset in my book. Indiana has won comfortably in all their WNIT games and a win for the Coyotes in Bloomington would be an EXTREMELY tall order.

Also, there is no rule about playing at least on road gme in WNIT according to John Thayer. It's all about which team is willing to pay more for it. The City of Vermillion and VCDC donated $5k each for Sundays game.

I see Indiana plays UC-Davis at 1 tomorrow. We should know where our next game is (if we win) before ours starts.
