Two teams are guaranteed a post-season national tournament game (NCAA or WNIT). ORU and Denver still have a chance at an at-large from the WNIT or WBI, but only a remote chance. UND is in do-or-die mode. Could be dangerous, but I'm glad we are playing them instead of ORU/Denver.

Just prior to the Championship game, RealtimeRPI had the Yotes at #39. Beating UND in the semis dropped our RPI. I think playing SDSU will raise it, even with the loss, but we'll have to see.
If we are below 40 I will worry.

I'll predict that we are in, but not as a 7-seed. I'll guess we fall to the dreaded 8 or 9 seed. Not terrible, but really hard to get to the sweet 16. I'll take it.

BYU took the auto from ranked Gonzaga in the finals, they both get in probably from the WCC. Hated to see that. I really want you guys to get in, I'll be rooting for you guys to join the Jacks and send two teams from the Summit to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the history of the Conference, and if (when) you get in , do some damage. Good luck to you Coyotes, hope to see you at the Dance.
I have to think your guys road wins over ranked Missouri and Iowa State (very impressive) gives you a better resume than the third team (Charlie) from the Mac. What's their signature win(s)…..if any???

If St Mary's had won, the WCC would have gotten 3 in.

That is good news. Hopefully the committee sees it the same way. I still think it's more likely we around a 9 or 10

Looks like Gonzaga actually went UP to a 5. They were a 6 before.

If we do get in I rather be a 10 than a 8 or 9. I might even rather be an 11 than a 8 or 9. I would probably have to take a look to see how much better the 6's look than the 8 or 9 seeds, but being an 8 or 9 gives you almost no shot at the sweet 16 and your first round game will be a toss up.

Here's how the mid-majors sit in RPI vs. Creme's bracket: #13 Gonzaga ------4 seed (Auto) #23 Drake ---------6 seed #24 Central Mich --7 seed #29 SDSU ---------6 seed (Auto) #30 BYU -----------9 seed #32 Rice ----------11 seed (Auto) #35 USD -----------7 seed #36 Buffalo --<2nd 4 out>#37 JMU ----------11 seed (Auto) #39 Ohio -----<2nd 4 out>#45 Miami(OH) ---11 seed (Auto) #46 Quinnipiac ---12 seed (Auto) #48 Bucknell - #52 New Mex -Update, now that the major conferences are done... #13 Gonzaga ------5 seed WCC at-large#16 Drake ---------7 seed MVC Auto #25 BYU -----------8 seed WCC Auto#26 SDSU ---------6 seed Summit Auto#27 Central Mich --7 seed MAC Auto #28 JMU ----------12 seed CAA Auto #34 Ohio ---------11 seed MAC at-large #35 Rice ----------11 seed C-USA Auto #37 Buffalo -------11 seed MAC at-large #38 USD -----------7 seed Summit at large#39 Quinnipiac ---12 seed MAAC Auto#43 Bucknell -----13 seed Patriot Auto #44 Belmont -----12 seed OVC Auto#47 Miami(OH) #49 St. Mary's----<2nd 4 out>#51 Princeton-----13 seed IVY Auto Looks a little more crowded. Interesting that James Madison has such a high RPI, but is still seen as a 12-seed by Creme. Makes me wonder if they will get an at-large if they lose the Colonial Tourney. I have a feeling the committee is more married to RPI than Charlie is. Both for at-larges and for seeding.

Well then, I think you guys are in....so many people saying you should be, it will be hard for the Selection Committee to go against all that positive input so many people have expressed that the Summit has TWO teams that are worthy to be included to the Tournament this year.Think positive....see you there!

Buffalo knows they are on the bubble, and just waxed Kent State 85-52 in the MAC quarterfinals.
