I can't remember a South Dakota showdown game being this lopsided in ages. There have been a few 15-20 point wins for State in the SL Tournament but I'd be curious to know the last time there was a game this lopsided. Unbelievable performance by the Yotes.

Who was the Jackrabbit fan that claimed that the Coyotes couldn't handle the Jacks interior players. How the Coyotes would get schooled by them. They just don't understand how good Sjerven is. Frederick sure didn't take a back seat to their bigs either.

Largest win for either team since 1996 (which came during a streak where USD lost 21 straight in the series). I think what makes this blowout seem even more lopsided than 35 points is just how great and competitive these teams have been the last 10 years.

On the Rabbit board they are already looking to when the Yotes will lose Duffy. Remember Koupal, Hegge, Seekamp etc. They will be saying that about Krull and others in 4 or 5 years as well. It was also mentioned how it is likely we will lose our coach as well. Considering the rise of the Coyotes and them surpassing the Jacks I sense a little jealousy. They never thought any other program would touch them in the Summit.

I'm sure it won't be long before we hear rumors about how the Coyotes were stealing their signs like the Astros too.

Women's game attendance reported at 5,153 Damn impressive given the storm, and last minute date change. I thought the crowd was clearly a factor in the game. Nice job, Yote fans.

I was still on the edge of my seat with the lead in the upper 20's just so the final would look as convincing as the game was actually played on the court. Loved that the final score was the largest lead in the game as far as I recall. This was a complete beat down. The game in Brookings will obviously be much different but it would be nice to get a win up there again.
You know what would be real ironic is to see the Coyotes slip out of the top 25 after a week like this. They lost 3 spots after winning big. It would be kind of an upset if the Coyotes don't win by double digits in every game from now until Frost. Not that it won't happen, would just be an upset.

Had to listen to this one on the radio. It's bizarre to hear Guebert hit a 3 and then hear the Verm crowd cheer. Great win!

Alright, who hacked Coyote Fan's account? Lose a game in Brookings or Sioux Falls and he'll be questioning if Dawn's the right coach.

Going into today we were winning conference games by an average of 34 points. Today, we won by 35. Just going to let you all interpret that at you wish.

The South Carolina game was huge for this team. To get that taste of what the top of the food chain is and come away knowing that you can compete on the right night has pushed them to another level. Today’s game was over five minutes in. There was no answer anywhere and the Jacks knew there was no answer.
No need to get overconfident, and Johnston’s going to come with a zone look or some other kind of wrinkle next time out but what we knew to be true is going to still be true.
The Jacks are overmatched at every position.

And from what I’ve heard today, Selland’s done for the season and they’ll apply for the redshirt. So she’s not coming to the rescue (not that she’d swing the tide, but she’d certainly help a bit).
